Look at the surface material & the core. If they're wood based & not High-Pressure Laminate on resin or vinyl core, they cannot be subjected to moisture. Absorption will lead to dimensional changes, peaking, cupping, even delamination.
However, the click-lock float floor has evolved into many different types for varied applications...even waterproof ones are out.
