I don't drink, and at most, just 1 bottle of beer (San Mig Light), heavily diluted pa with ice cubes. I'm considered a killjoy pa nga kasi even if I don't drink, I consume a lot of pulutan, ehehehe

Now i am not versed with the law but would a "hit and run" wherein the victim was killed constitute as involuntary manslaughter or murder?

and if may limang naka hawak ng sibak at pasugod sa yo i suppose it could be self-preservation?

Murder is present only during the ff: instances: premediation, in return for a reward, and use of superior force/treachery.

Manslaughter is a term used only in the US/Canada. Too much of watching LA Law & Law & Order can do that to anybody

as i mentioned i am not versed in the law hence the question. also apologies for the terminology as i have recently arrived to the country and have only been here two years this time around after being out for a while. so given the story about the hit and run what does that fall under? in your esteemed opinion and considering it happened here in the RP? (note didnt say PI there)

When I'm drinking, most of the time I drive home afterwards, since I usually drink at at places near my house, or a friends place near my house. If it's familiar territory, I can do it. It's almost automatic. I sit in the car, and it takes me home hehehe. But if it's a place where you don't often go to, then mahirap na. For me, i can always visualize a limit bar in my mind when i'm drinking, and I know if i'm above or below. If i'm below, i can drive, if i'm above, i can't drive at all and I have to wait it out.

But because i know na 'nakainom' ako, mas maingat pa nga ako magdrive kesa sa nde ako nakainom. Andun kc un idea na nakainom at babagal ang reflexes mo when driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Kaya mas nagiging maingat ako....

Why not just be careful for the sake of being careful? A careful sober driver is still much safer than a "careful" drunk driver.

Xmas party namin and I got so drunk because pagdating ko nahablot ako sa bar kagad,, beer flowing and it just wont stopped.

Umuwi ako sumusuray and still managed to get in my car, I was driving but I know sumusuray car ko hehe,.,, that's really dangerous..

Well I managed to go home and medyo nabangga ko lang naman front bumper ng bro ko.

In the morning I have seen traces ng blow ko from parking lot to the gate hehehe...and another thing

I have seen a cam pic of me, wasted in the sala, hehe..kinunan pala ako pic ng esmi ko..while dead drunk ako sa baba ,,hehehe

Guys, its better to assign someone as the designated driver and not let him drink kahit konti....kape na lang siguro.....ok pa yun

Stay safe ... kaysa magsisi kayo after....buti sana kung ikaw lang maaksidente pero kawawa naman yung ibang bystander/pedestrian or kotseng tatamaan mo.

Or just call your friends to stay over for the night and drinking spree na kayo...at least walang magmamaneho afterwards.....siempre be careful din with the choice of words na sasabihin mo at baka naman kayo pa ang mag - away nyan.

Lastly, dun sa mga nang aawat ng mga lashing.....do think twice, more often than not sila pa yung mas grabe ang tama.

No i dont drink alcoholic beverages anymore. I used to pero ngayon alcohol free na ako.
