Wow bro. 6 months before you wash it? Hindi ka siguro pawisin. Longest I've gone without a wash was a week of daily use in college IIRC. Nilalabahan lang pag may amoy na.

Longest was 2 weeks (not out of choice but necessity), I was doing our practicals, mapping the hinterlands of Ifugao. We had a main camp in Lagawe, but we had to map out a remote part. Since it would be time consuming to go back so we camped wherever we stopped for th night (lucky if there was a village, if not just pitch a tent. So the jeans I wore lasted the entire 2 weeks. It was crusty and chafing from the mud, dust, sweat and whatever else. Yung sabi na "tumatayo na yung pantalon mo mag-isa at pag di mo nabantayan tatakbo na yan!" literally held true.

Nowadays, because of the pandemic, laba agad yan kapag sinuoot mo sa labas.

Depende yan sa tao. May tao kahit katatapos lang maligo iba talaga amoy katawan may baho agad. Maybe pheromones nya or skin maantot talaga. Usually matataba ganyan kahit scotch brite pa gamitin hindi talaga kakayanin. Internal problem mabaho pawis/balat.

Example nung college hindi ko lang maalala kung 2nd year, 3rd or 4th nagstop na ako magsabon mukha. As in plain tubig lang. Eh highschool nag eskinol pa ako.

Hindi namin lahi tigyawat, tagtawat, acne as in waley sa parents ko. Nainflunsyehan ako mga pinsan ko babae. Mas napaganda pa nung nagstop ako magsabon nagsaraduhan pores ko sa ilong nawala blackheads as in ubos.

Ako lagpas one year nagawa ko walang labahan skinny jeans. Amoy lumang papel lang.

Pag bagong ligo ako at after 5hours lets say nag-gym ako = amoy buhok ng mais or kumukulong kamote body ko. Malinamnam.

But you’re right. Mas maganda fading if slim fit yung jeans hehe yung Japan Blue ko regular fit so mas matagal bago nag fade

I heard some go as much as P20k. I tried some slims of H&N before but slims don’t agree with me. My son & daughter kept laughing.
Japan raws are beyond my budget nowadays, but the Sage ones can be bought online & heavy weight ones are reasonably priced.
This is a nice site to understand more of the denim culture:

Might be shocking to some, but the quality jeans are not meanth to be washed (frequently) because the goal is to preserve the indigo dye.

They are also not meanth to be ironed (plantsa). The natural creases & folds develop when worn are personalized & these are where the fades develop. The creases are also best preserved when hung by the belt loops.

Machine washing is a no-no, so is using bleach. I use Perwoll Black & normally soak the jeans (inside out) for a few hours then agitate to loosen the dirt. Machine wahing creates distinctive lines.

*If you’re going to spend on those artisanal Japanese denims, that is.

[emoji28]
