Narinig nyo naba yung RAW denims? Very stiff yan when you get it. When you first get it, pre-soak muna in a mix of white vinegar &,water to get some of the stiffness out then just wear it. After a few months, fades in the creases come out, usually sa crotch area, behind the knees, leg bottoms & the usual fades sa thighs & seats. Yung iba, sa pocket where you put your wallet. It is a manner of personalizing the jeans. You call the fade "sick fades".

You can't make the fades from jeans that have been pre shrunken or pre faded or treated. Dapat yung indicated na Raw jeans. Levi's has the cheapest, although you have to get in the US. Meron raw jeans sa Alabang, names Naked & Famous at Unbranded. These are Japanese denims & very expensive, around P10k.

I have 2. My first is Levi's 501 Rigid. I got it 2013 & wore it straight for 5 months everyday. Mind you, I don't work in an office. It started smelling really bad & kids started complaining Pero sige pa din. The thighs & seats were brown already & nice fades had developed. Nilabhan ko na. May way of washing din yun. Lahat ni research ko muna:-) . Ngayon, I am working on my 2nd pair.

Parang sa pinoy culture, di talaga accepted into. None of my friends do it. I just tried to do it on a whim & nearly washed it after the first 2 months. Tiniis ko lang but it was worth the wait. That's why I posted kasi baka nga meron gaya ko.

Sa culture abroad, naging work of art na.

Is it really that worth it? I mean pag nakita ba ng ibang tao noticeable ba talaga yung ganda without you saying any info about your pants na its expensive and its the type that you dont wash for a certain period?

Exactly it's the climate not the culture. When you live in a cold climate country, you don't need to wash your jeans every time you use it.

Has any here tried not washing their jeans for 6 months?
