Yes of course. I don't like guys who eat like girls. Plus it makes me feel appreciated if I did the cooking.

I'm good at frying, As my friends said to me.
I can cook Sinigang, Fried Chicken, Breaded Chicken, Cordon bleu, Fish Fillet, Burgers, Burger steaks, Baked Chicken/or Roasted.

Mas Cool kasi tignan pag lalake lang nagluluto, Kasi Normal na kasi puro babae ang nagluluto sa bahay, Pero Mas maraming Chefs na lalake kumpara sa mga babae, Hoping to a Chef soon, But Don't ask me to do Dishwashing IMO.

yes. i love cooking. ako pa nga ang nagma-market and teaching our helpers to cook. lutong bahay nga lang, sinigang na pork, adobo, grilled, etc. basta lutong bahay. tapos kahit di ko masyadong alam na putahe, i do the experimental cooking, inaalam ko lang what are the ingredients. ang sarap kumain pag ikaw mismo ang nagluto. pero bihira na lang akong mag-cook ngayon due to lack of time and trained ko na rin ang helpers namin, so sila na ang gumagawa lahat. konting instructions na lang from me.

That's a mortal sin in our house. My Dad's cardiologist back in the early 90's advised us to throw out all MSG or anything with MSG in our house.

We don't use instant mix as well because that has MSG. We also make sinigang from scratch (sampaloc squeezed)

Naku avoid eating instant noodles (lucky me, payless, nissin etc) It's very high in sodium. But then again I still eat spam lite kahit high sodium

+100 pogi points guys who cook well and have a healthy appetite. I used to get irritated with my ex kasi ang hina na kumain ang bagal pa.

he he he duda na talaga ako sa mga nagiging BF ni mam cathy puro mahihinhin

Ako opposite. Pag ako nagluto wala ako gana kainin. The satisfaction of the cooking comes from the appreciation of others

    i'm confused.....madalas ko marinig ito eh....lutong bahay.

ano ba talaga meaning nito? sa'n pa ba pwedeng lutuin yan, eh di ba sa mga bahay natin? e di syempre, lutong bahay nga.........

may ibang term pa ba aside from "lutong bahay"?

    (lutong macau...sa macau niluto.....(joke!)

Lutong bahay can also mean food that's familiar and none fancy. Not the type that would require professional skills and specialized ingredients.

its about time magkaron din ng thread na ganito hehe...thanks GH!

well, I pretty much can cook anything basta may ingredients and equipment and basic guidelines for recipes I haven't done before...

But I particularly like cooking asian food nothing too complicated unlike much of the western...cost friendly pa hehe....mas madali pang iambush cook kapag biglang may dadating na unexpected guest sa bahay....and syempre hindi mawawala sa favorites yung sariling atin...

And I do live in the principle of Gusteau from the movie ratatouille that "anyone can cook" which I think is quite logical naman kasi everybody knows how to eat diba? So I see no hindrance on why anybody cannot try cooking lakas lang ng loob for beginners and besides you got the whole cooking arsenal of the internet at your disposal....believe me, it did miracles for me at critical times during college....

tip lang dun sa mahilig magluto ng sinigang...

Try nyo subukan na pang paasim yung kamatis...70% kamatis to 30% sampalok...

mamumula mula yung sabaw.... but its quite a different type of sourness which I find better than sampalok alone because there is a kick of sweetness...mga half to 3/4 kilo ng kamatis for every kilo ng Pork then balance the sourness using the sampalok then all the usuals like gabi, kangkong etc but you can always add or substitute like using petchay or adding sigarilyas...(^__^) but what I have in mind and I've always wanted to try is adding malungay...just haven't had the opportunity yet hehe...

    uyy medyo nahaba yata hehe....
