Yes.

Kwentahin mo lang ang total kw required for all plus x3 sa pinakamalaking wattage, tutal pwede mo naman pa andarin yan one at a time, just make sure meron ka pang x3 dun sa last aircon na matitira.

Mas maganda na over-over. Mamaya mag automatic sabay sabay yun A/C [emoji23] well at least for noninverter.

^the generator should always be more than capable to provide the energy requirements of the load (home appliances)

Also the wire that will connect the generator to the load should be more than capable to handle the current required..otherwise, you could burn the household

You will need proper gauged cables. I think my jumper cables are good but it got warm. Whats the max current output of your 12 dc power supply?

    Id get one of these...

Its possible but theres a risk of an overload. Overload is the state when the load draws more current than what the generator can provide. The starter circuit of the vehicle can draw a lot of current to start an engine thats why jumper cables are thick

If your generator is not equipped with an overload protection circuit (fuse) then you could risk ruining the rectifier circuit (diode) of the generator

Considering not all generators have the same capacity. Its dangerous to assume that if it worked for others..it will also work with your generator..it all depends on the capacity of the generator

we used to have a car battery charger with engine start capability. plugging it into our house wall socket, it would start our old skul cars with weak battery. there are local ads for such start-capable car battery chargers.
puede rin, i suppose, i-plug sa genset. but you have to have a genset that can safely supply the hi wattage, i.e., 1500-2000 watts or so.

    but i am old skul.
my concern is the modern car's cpu.
can it function using interrupted direct current?
because if not, you will have to look for a circuit that offers continuous or smoother direct current.

Okay naman siya except for baradong carburetor pag matagal hindi nagagamit. In this case, dapat drain lagi gas sa tank at karburador bago itago.
Thank you Sir Lew sa feedback, malaking tulong.

I need a recommendation for a genset in the 5,000 to 7,000W range. I don't mind if it's cheap or generic, as long as it has local support for parts and aftersales service.

If you're OK with refurb then you could scout along Evangelista Quiapo. There are Robin,Yanmar and Kubota Diesels surely they have parts.

If you're OK with China copycats there is this Briggs & Stratton called Promax, try calling this shop - Trioidad Trading, #1643-A Soler St., Sta Cruz, Manila TL# 5310-0401 look for Boyet 09564926715. Everything else China i guess is disposable, goodluck finding spare parts.

Honestly IMO if requirement is just for emergency backup then i'd get the cheapest brand new, you just have to maintain the jets of the carb make sure it doesn't clog when not in use.

Now that I've thought about it, this may not be the actual price. I see a lot of big-ticket items that are listed with an unrealistically low price. You will need to investigate further.

Yeah, it's for emergencies only. With our utility power pretty stable as of late, there's not much demand for them so the prices are relatively low now. Best time buy one.

I am actually looking at the off-branded ones, Chinese or otherwise. Oshima, Blackstone, Anmax, Powerhouse, etc. With the kids' online classes and I'm still WFH, this could come in handy when needed.

Brwnd new China made ok na yan. Wala naman masisira eh, kung yun mga gamit nga third party contractor ng mga utilities for their jack hammer super laspag ng mga genset nila nababasa pa tapos puro putik buhay pa rin.
