pag nasa bench, all a players scores are not counted. Thats why its important to have all positions covered and not have too many players for a specific position (to avoid sked conflict).

yup tama si PK, you have to rotate your players daily, kung sino may game yun ang ilagay mo sa lineup.

... so pag walang game yung player, i-bench mo to open up roster slots.

In your case pare, you have 5 PGs. Assuming all of them have games on a certain day, You can put them in the following slots: PG(native position), G (pwede rito SG or PG), Util(any position pwede), Util(you have 2 util slots). So one of your PGs has to sacrifice his production.
