This thread is for the participants of the 2nd Annual Fantasy Fools Fantasy Basketball League. So fellow GMs please feel free to trash talk / make fun of FA acquisitions.

mazdamazda: To answer your question re: Channing Frye, its a tough call, it all depends on the Health/performance of Eddy Curry and "Big Snacks" James. Larry Brown isn't a big fan of rooks (check out Darko), but its a long season, keep an eye on him.

mga taksil!!

actually masarap yung may h2h league chaka roto league - ibang iba kasi ang style of play nung dalawa. yun nga lang big time commitment, hehe. my baseball league was roto-style and the best strategy is to get as many guys that help you in many categories, but don't be afraid to grab some guys who are really good in 1 or 2 categories either (especially the rare ones).

tulungan kita kasi mukhang experienced tong mga kalaban mo...eto opinyon ko lang po:

your team is good in FG%, rebs and TO, and weak in FT%, 3pm and pts. every other category is decent at best. are you getting Kobe for Vince straight up? that's a steal and will really help you. drop Frye - he's not gonna play unless Eddy has a heart attack - i would rather have Zaza Pachulia, Kwame Brown, or Ike Diogu as my backup C over him. i would hang on to Cassell and Daniels - both good players but if Dunleavy Sr. starts playing Shaun Livingston drop Cassell like a piece of dog poop.

oh, one more piece of advice - trade Shaq for someone good. trust me ;)

We can always set up ANOTHER league hehehe. But two leagues are more than enough for me. I simply dont have time for another.

i dont know about hill (misses some games last season) and also with frye
keep daniels, carter because not only they give points but also rebounds and some assists

for a noob, get multi position players they can be handy in some schedules...believe me

also keep in check also the turnovers minsan kasi nakakaligtaan ito. pero major factor ito, some years ago (1998) i got a good lineup with karl malone doing almost everything...pati turnovers ayun cellar dweller ako...

RE: Fantasy Fools League: This is actually organized by one of my new co-workers. Sayang nga, I wanted to have Boeing747 along kaya lang napuno na yung 12 GM spots. Rotisserie scoring like Tsikot First Fantasy League so balance is not so critical as pure volume. AFAIK, total stats ang labanan. Though I'll have to confirm this with the commish. Ang dami kasing variation ng scoring e.

Anyways, on to business.

JLG, medyo lugi ako dun sa text-in proposal mo. Maybe kung si stoudamire for jrich i might change my mind.

I guess marami ngang newbies sa autodraft na hindi nag pre-rank ng maayos. I was #3 in the draft and yet I managed this lineup:

PG - Marbury
SG - Ray Allen
G - J. Richardson
SF - McGrady
PF - [EDIT]Boozer (incoming from Trade)
F - Z. Randolph
C - S. Swift
C - Marc Jackson
Util - A. Harrington
Util - C. Billups

BN - Rip Hamilton (Outgoing)
BN - Joe Smith

Of course, im planning some great moves with the FA pool to get rid of my unwanteds!
