PNP chief: 'It was a bomb'
10/19/2007 | 03:02 PM
The explosion which hit the Glorietta 2 shopping mall on Friday afternoon was not caused by an liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leak, rather police information on the ground showed that it came from a bomb, the Philippine National Police (PNP) leadership said.
Director Gen. Avelino Razon Jr, PNP chief, told dzBB radio that, "From our assessment hindi ito yung initially reported na LPG. Bale ito po ay isang bomba. But beyond that wala pa po akong masasabi dahil nag-iimbestiga pa nga."
He said the information was based on the assessment of his ground commanders. -Last edited by russpogi; October 19th, 2007 at 05:24 PM. Reason: added quotes, fixed formating
