sir, dont speculate like this. the govt is our only friend right now lalo na ngaun may uncertainty. i believe this is just a start. madadali na naman ang progress natin nito bec. paranoia takes over again.

in December 30, 2000 bombings, erap was under fire from all fronts like what GMA's position is right now. a month later, he was removed from office. many thought it was his own doing to divert the people. pero hindi yun ang nangyari d'ba

it was the extremists who took advantage of the political situation during that time. well-documented yan

kaya nga dun sa beheading thread sinabi ko na duon puwede na naman maulit ito when the govt. lauches full-offensive against the extremists. they won't retaliate kung kelan mainit ang issue but they will kung kelan yun time na iba na ang issue and the time when we are very lax and feel normal.

people, let's refrain from speculating muna. it's just adding to the confusion. let the authorities determine the cause of the blast first before drawing any conclusions

This just shows that a lot of improvement on the security system of these establishments are needed. I am sure todong higpit na naman ang mga malls, supermarkets, cinemas, etc. after this incident but after a while, nagiging lax na naman .
How many more lives will be lost? Sana naman wala na. There must be consistency in the implementation of the security measures and constantly improving. Buhay ng tao ang pinag-uusapan dito.

I was there and witnessed the blast in front of me. I was in the 2nd floor of glorietta 2 going to Landmark. I even saw the glass walls shatterring all around. I just passed the escalator when the blast happened.

I feel that it is not just an LPG because there is no smell of gas and not even fire. I was shocked after the blast and I just noticed that suddenly I was out of the mall due to all the people pushing at me ... a bit of stampede.

A Lady tsikoteer friend said that the explosion was heard from her place in Quezon City, thats how loud the explosion is.

Actually ako din! I was at Ortigas kanina going back to Makati, commute. No choice ako pero the whole trip seemed like forever! I actually feel more secured riding a jeep than a bus or LRT/MRT or FX.

Easy lang lakay. Bay-am laengen ni OB.

Tama rin sinabi mo eh. Tingnan lahat ang anggulo. Although, mahirap pa mag-speculate sa ngayon.

the question is where are the guards guarding the front entrance. nasa hospital na din ba.

so if the blast happened outside, bakit sira ang ceiling ng atrium. that's a very high ceiling kasi 3 floors up yan and on the 3rd floor, computer shops and yun toby's sports na mataas din ang ceiling. mayroon din ata Be connect I-cafe dun

and dun sa ground ng atrium, may mga mini-shops dyan pero from the pics mukang nawala lahat yun. yun mga shops nasa ilalim ng escalator.

the 3rd floor of G2 is also the Greenhills type of tiangge of Glorietta. so at least you may now have an idea kung sino mga tenants dun.

of all the Glorietta entrances, etong G2 ang less frequented ng tao. unlike G1 from Sm/edsa, G3 in front of Shangrila/6750 ang G4 in front of Intercon.

    ===

if the blast happened just inside after the entrance, then it may possible that the guards were chasing the bomber then it went off. if the blast happened outside, tingin ko sunog dapat yun mga L300 and CRV dun na nakaparada. and the park square side naman grabe ang damage. pero from the pics, puro basag-basag lang maybe due to shock wave.

    ===

i have seen clips from the recent bombing sa Britain sa airport. just before sa entrance din ti-nrigger. sunog yun land rover and other european cars on the side roads.

For all we know yung MAGDALO ang may kagagawan nito. Even Bin Laden denied they bombed WTC.

ser kung tuusin cause and effect ang nangyari

    1. Col. Querubin and henchmen said bad things about Malacanang
    2. after Querubin got detained, the admin got nervous. what about Querubin's men. baka ituloy nila or may gagawin sila laban sa gobyerno
    3. They decided to send Querubin's men to Mindanao just to let off steam. magbantay-bantay muna sila dun. palamig
    5. then beheadings happened.
    6. The Filipino people denounced the inhuman treatment of our soldiers.
    7. to appease the anger of the people, govt decides to give ultimatum to the extremists.
    8. kumasa ang extremists, Govt. send more troops to finish them off.

sa monday, malamang may investors pull-out na naman. stock market goes down etc etc... the martial law scare, policemen/soldier very tense do warrantless arrest. history happening all over again.

eto nga lang nakakatawa sa bad aura that is our motherland the Philippines, yun sa ibang bansa history repeats itself in every 50 or 100 years. tayo wala pa isang dekada eto na naman, same situation as before.

the culprit: people never learn from mistakes. people easily forgets. people dont think of the consequences before they shout their grievances.

The report that Russpogi posted indicates that there was a "firecracker sound BEFORE the big explosion" which is inconsistent with an LPG explosion.

I've seen and heard an LPG explosion before and it there are no cracking sounds before, during or after an explosion. It's just a loud BOOM plus the sound of buckling metal.

Based also from the extent of the damage I've seen sa news, the blast was too powerful for even two large LPG tanks. The explosion was also directed upwards, if it were gas it would have been concentrated sidewards. I really hope that my hunch is wrong because this is freaking scary.
