An eyewitness told GMANews.TV that it sounded like a powerful firecracker blast, and then a thudding sound was heard, like that of a ceiling that had collapsed. Shoppers scampered out of the mall, some of them crying, while police agents rushed in.

    KAWAWA NAMAN MGA TAO NADAMAY.....

If they wanted lots of people, eh di SM.

I severely doubt it was a bomb if it came from a resto... need more information.

You can't make pronouncements without the results of the investigative team.

Baka katulad ng accident ni Kenneth Quintal dati... wherein the police pronounced that the Isuzu Trooper went off the Skyway because K.Q. and the guy were racing and they hit each other.

Then, it turned out that they weren't racing. Iba yung entry points nila, at kaka-akyat lang ng isang driver sa Skyway.

And then it turns out that they didn't even collide... K.Q. lost control due to hydroplaning, and the Isuzu driver lost control trying to avoid him.

    Galing, no?

    -----

Let's wait for the results of the investigation. If this really were a terrorist attack, there would already be a pronouncement claiming responsibility.

    ------

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

The explosion which hit the Glorietta 2 shopping mall on Friday afternoon was not caused by an liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) leak, rather police information on the ground showed that it came from a bomb, the Philippine National Police (PNP) leadership said.

Director Gen. Avelino Razon Jr, PNP chief, told dzBB radio that, "From our assessment hindi ito yung initially reported na LPG. Bale ito po ay isang bomba. But beyond that wala pa po akong masasabi dahil nag-iimbestiga pa nga."

He said the information was based on the assessment of his ground commanders. -
sana mali ang initial assessment nila... nakakatakot naman kung tutoo.

if it injured 30 people, dapat 5 lpg tank sumabog sunodsunod.

if this is related to the Mindanao war, then it matches the profile. kung kelan nag-die down na issue sa media, saka may sasabog. tulad ng Dec. 30, just when everybody else feels safe and the only concern was political chaos in the media.
