ang mga naalala ko ung EB na parang real date

ung mag meet one afternoon sa mall... stroll, kain, kwentuhan, movie

may girl nagsabi at the end of the date "this was a good day"

natuwa ako dun kaya hanggang ngayon naalala ko pa

ung SEB di ko na nga maalala mukha ng girl

BTT: Diba marami ka kilala single mom? Saan kaya nag aaral anak nila kasi alam ko sa Catholic school they require the marriage certificate of the parents.

Not all Catholic schools are that strict, some are very strict however.

My friend's separated parents pretended to be together so their daughter can enter Assumption HS.

But they still had a marriage certificate? Was this recent? Kasi I know in the 80s AC requires that, unless they relaxed their rules na. I asked my Mom and she said for my brother and I they required marriage cert

My Mom's sister naman is from St Scho, but my Tita's BFF enrolled her daughter in AC kasi her BFF prefers na married parents requirement. Her daughter is older than me (born late 70s)

My Uncle and some of my friends tease me to have a child already even without a husband (biological time clock is running out) but I really can't do it. I am against premarital s3x and I want my child to go to a Catholic school PLUS I can't afford it alone. Kaya bilib din ako sa mga single Mom by choice

    those were fun days
before the days of the internet
It may have started with letters and then they became Pen pals.
people in those times would write letters to one another, they were usually people from farther from each other such that letters gives them something to look forward to kahit mabagal.
there were also the classified ads from newpapers and magazines.
its under the Personals sections. You can check those old newspapers/magazines.
if your thinking dirty those playboy/penthouse magazines has those. not sure if they still do.

during the Heyday of the internet there where the chats like Mirc, and like. hehe. Thats where the terms EB and even SEB came about.
people would chat and meet up in a community based server filled with people from your country.

now its apps like Tinder and Bumble. plus Reddit pala.

Doesn't seem to apply any more. I remember a relative going to AC and her parents were not married.
AFAIK only the Opus Dei led school are very strict with that before.
Now you don't need a marriage license to have your kid go into a catholic school.

I guess this is recent? Kasi in the 80s they required na married ang parents. I do wonder if Southridge and Woodrose still requires a marriage certificate now.

I am not happy with this relaxing of policies, kaya a lot of people are having children out of wedlock or just living in instead of getting married

BTT: One of my dream companies was Nestle. I knew they mostly hired from Ateneo but I still applied as a fresh grad - no call. Finished my MBA - still no call. I don't know if it's because I am not from Ateneo, my credentials or work experience. I don't get my panties in a bunch anymore if there are school preferences (whether in dating or work)

Does school really matter?
