March 17th, 2005 05:36 PM #22ang magandang tanong dyan, baket pa kinailangan pang magkaroon ng pink fences? why would anyone think about putting them up in the first place? 'coz a lot of people -- PUV drivers, private car owners, pedestrians, etc. -- don't have enough self-discipline, kaya we need someone to enforce the law.
i don't agree with a lot of BF's ideas, but at least he's doing something about the traffic problem. just wish he'd consult some more people before doing it...

March 17th, 2005 05:51 PM #26On the other hand, on the SLEX the concrete barriers do help in some cases. But not these pink pences. They couldnt even add reflectors! Somebody may have earned millions through these deals.

IMHO, they have the yellow lane laws turned around. Buses stay on yellow lanes, not everyone else stay off.
Gaddamnit, nadale ako ng p*tang-*nang fence na yan kagabi... I understand needing to keep traffic confined to the proper lanes, but providing absolutely NO TURN-OFFs for four kilometers of Cubao!!???!!! It's absolute madness!!! I had to travel an extra six or seven kilometers to get back to my apartment... ONE hour in traffic for a trip that was actually less than a kilometer. I was so disgusted I wanted to park in the middle of EDSA and walk home.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

March 17th, 2005 05:57 PM #29para sa akin it's the implementation of Law yan. if the law is strictly implemented, people just have to abide. take for example, tayong mga pinoy pag napupunta to other countries like Singapore, di ba we follow the rules kasi nga takot tayong ma fine a ma preso, it is because of the strict enforcement of the law. no corruption is allowed, i mean walang lagay. pag naglagay ka, puwede kang arestuhin ng pulis for bribery. just for my 2 cents

IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
