I did. Doon sa TV Setup, I set it na sa stretch. When I quit the menu, naka stretch na ang screen. Ok na. pero change ka ng channel, balik 4:3 na sya. When I go back to the original channel, back to 4:3 ulit.

All the HD channels looks very good BTW. crisp and clear.

Another Question: Can we set the channels on their own resolution? Keep the HD, then SD sa mga local channels except maybe channel 5? Mine is Samsung series 5.

Now, I had enjoyed last night's NBA game and in the Discovery HD, a documentary in the restoration of a Ferrari Daytona. Linaw.

Napansin ko lang, the sound coming from the HDMI is not good. Ang hina at mababa ang quality. In addition, medyo kapamilya ang mga kasama ko sa bahay at napansin nila rin medyo malabo ang channel 2. Ang linaw ng channel 5 though. Makes you think na this is something similar to fiasco ng Channel 7 and Skycable eh.

I still have to play around with the audio to make it better.

Channel 5 ithink is already digital kaya malinaw not sure lang kung HD na rin ang mga camera nila unlike 2 and 7, analog pa yata gamit.

Post ko lang dito ang Cignal STB reset procedures (from Filsat forum). I think this was what I did to my SD box some months back (I took instructions from Cignal CS over-the-phone). Pero I am not sure if this works with the Humax HD STB... Try at your own risk na lang.

Here are the simple steps:

1. Power ON cignal decoder. LED must be green.

2. Detach the power adaptor plug from the decoder.

3. Simultaneously push the UP and DOWN buttons at the front panel and plug the power adaptor while holding the two buttons.

4. This will appear on you TV screen.

"Please wait Initialising" ......... "Disconnect and reconnect the decoder power"

5. Now release the buttons then disconnect and reconnect the power apaptor.

6. Your cignal decoder is now reset to its default configuration. This can also correct some minor bugs on the decoder.

i guess it has something to do with the dolby surround...disable the surround stay on 2 channel audio (stereo)...hope this help.

Bad trip lang dito sa Cignal is laging naniningil ng labor cost pagpupuntahan ka sa house to check the status of your dish pag nawalan ka ng reception...
Three times na kaming nagbabayad ng P600 dahil kailangan daw realign eh hindi naman namin kasalanan kung bakit laging nawawalan kami ng reception!
We are planning to cut their services and transfer to a local cable provider...
Nakakainis lang kasi talaga that you have to pay everytime nawawalan ka ng magandang "Cignal" service and they will go to your house to check!!!!

anu po b gagawin pg gnito??2mos n kami my cable...after 1st mo.,may lumabas n technical prob dw...itinwag nmin,sv my pupunta,after 3 wks naayos nmn..to be exact wid the date,last week,monday (jan17),naayos nmn xa,kaso my bayad daw n 700 for reallignment of the satellite...kaso after a week(Jan 24 '11) nagtechnical prob n nmn...ala nmn kami gingwa e,until now (jan 27) ala p rin...anu b ngyayari???ibig svhin ttwg kami at mgbabayad n nmn ng P700???smantalang 599 ang cable bmin??kailangn din b nmin byrn un whole month khit di nmn nmin ngamit in a month un cable???

nagtechnical prob un cignal namin for a month,kakaayos lang last week,pumunta sila rito, then nasira na naman nung Monday..wala naman kami ginagawa....ganun ulit ang problem...hanggang ngayon ala pa rin ksmi cable...does that mean papaayos uli namin at magbabayad ng P700??ulit?????????.....or baka naman pedeng kami na magayos nun????
