Cignal TV

Lumipat ako from dream to Cignal TV. Naka plan P1,290 postpaid kami ngayon. The Cignal's box is HDMI already, and there are several HD channels - Natgeo HD, History HD, Discovery HD, Foodnetwork Asia HD, Star movies HD, NBA Premium HD, ESPN HD- I forgot the other channels that are HD. Total channels inclusive of the radio stations is around 95. In terms of clarity of reception and vividness (well - an LCD TV is a must tho to use the HDMI) tindi talaga ang Cignal. I came from dream TV - which was already super clear, but cignal TV takes the cake.

BTW there are two types of boxes a Standard Definition (SD) and the HD. Pick the HD - all the channels are upscaled to a minimum of 720p. The only drawback is the box is good for one TV only. AFAIK you could do a splitter but you have to purchase another box (which they will lease - one time payment only - at P1,000).

Sa wakas, na install na 2 boxes sa amin. Problem ko na lang i-activate na lang. Pwede ko ba i-benta ang Dream satellite and box ko?

Di pa nga eh. I called them this morning and I got the SIM card numbers and the STB and OBU numbers ready as well, pero sabi nila di pa sina-submit ni Miletrix (yun partner nila) mga docs ko. Without those, di nila ma-activate pa. Corny!!

Tried calling Miletrix earlier but they are giving me the run-around whenever I ask them if they submitted the docs. They say they will call back but until now, no call yet.

kulitin mo lang bro, what i did before was call and call lang sa hotline nila. Activated rin after 5 hours. Turn around time ata nila after installation of the dish and the box is 24 hours for activation.

Once miletrix submitted the documents, tawagan mo rin Cignal for them to activate it. Ganun ginawa ko, otherwise baka bukas na naman yan gagawin. Kulitin mo na lang ang Cignal.

I called Cignal mga 9:00 and they said within an hour activated na. More than one hour na, wala pa rin.

Oh well, malamang Filipino time yun 1 hour niya. So probably tomorrow na ito.

Mga pare koi!! Its up and running but I have a slight problem. All my SD channels are in the 4:3 format, while HD naman are ok.

I changed the settings in the box from pillar box to stretch and it works, however when I change channels, bumabalik sya sa 4:3 na naman. Any idea how to fix this?

Question lang guys, My LCD tv is located at my room so dun din nakainstall yung HD box. I'm planning to connect a cable to the TV at my living room for my households to watch Pacman -Marga fight. Naka HDMI ako sa LCD tv and there two sets of output(RCA connector-red, white and yellow).Which of the two will i use it to connect it sa TV at my living room. I may need around 12meters of RCA, may nabibili ba ganun kahaba? And if pwede ba ito, naka HD sa room and SD sa living room?

Di ba when you select stretch, it means sa screen lang yun and not another TV extension?
