saw that guy on FB, I couldn't watch his video for even 3 mins Pwede pa kong maniwala na mayaman siya, napakadaling yumaman ngayon compared to PRE internet era. I've heard too many people na yumaman in less than 10 years, some even less than 5 years from online selling, youtube and other social media platforms

Who would believe that that guy is educated abroad? And not just any school sa MIT pa ROFL! I am amazed that people even gave that guy the time of day. Also, U don't know why but he looks so dirty

He’s too brash. Lacks sophistication whatsoever.

He wears suits most of the time, but they look altered to fit, not bespoke or at least made to measure.

i think our house was just hit by a sonic boom. it's either that or it was a single thunder strike somewhere near by (no succeeding thunder claps as of yet)

unless we are under attack by a furrin' power with supersonic plane,
    it's probably just a thunderclap.

    or,
may meralco transformer na sumabog ulit.
    heh heh.

i have never experienced a sonic boom.
    can anyone describe it?

That's our suspicion kanina considering the relatively clear weather and all.

I experienced a sonic boom before back when the american bases were still operating here. The whole house of my friend shook and the windows really rattled. Scared the crap out of us kids. I think those planes were doing flybys in and around the sangley point area.

Also need to have my bike tuned up. Was in storage for 3 years. Shocks need air, handle grips and seat need to be replaced, gearset needs to be re-oiled.

Are bike shops operating during regular hours now?

^ i'm not sure if bike shops are allowed to ply their trade under the iatf guidelines, but my neighborhood suki was servicing customers kanina - although their roll doors were only half-open so medyo may pagka-on the down low ang operations nila.

if the rules say only 50% business,
then that half-open roller is in line with these rules.
    heh heh heh.

    seriously, half-down rollers means:
    - "closed na kami; we are just waiting for the costumers inside to conclude their business."
    - "but if you can limbo rock yourself in, and mabilis ka bumili, we can accomodate you."
    - "we're closed, but i just had to sneak in to get something. ewan ko ba kung bakit nila sinundan ako..."
i see it often at about closing time on regular days and on noontime sundays.

ang hirap baklasin ang gulong ng motorsiklo!
hopelessly flat ba? would you gamble on inflating them and walk/ride the entire vehicle to the tire shop?

    oo nga.

my workplace colleague once bought an e-bike.
at first, he was using it with gusto, to go to work everyday.
after a few weeks, hindi na namin nakikita.
    "anong nangyari?"
    "na-flat yung likod."
    "and so...?"
    "hirap-hirap baklasin para ipa-vulcanize!"

later on, we found out, dahil sa inis sa hindi-ma-baklas, he sold it.
"bahala na yung buyer sa flat na yan."
    nag-balik kotse siya.
"buti pa yung kotse ko. napaka-daling pa-ayos ang flat tire."

^ as usual doc, madali mag baklas ng mga gulong ang mahirap iyong pag balik. tagaktak pawis ko at sumakit din ang likod ko after an hour or 2 of trying to figure out and recall how to re-install them properly.

medyo nakakabahala din ang magpa-vulcanize kasi sunod-sunod din ang dating ng mga tao. you have to be conscious to practice social distancing kasi ako pa naman mahilig mag chit chat kaya kelangan ko i-remind sarili ko na delikado maski naka mask ka at naka utility gloves pa (w/c i read here is a bad thing to do pala even though establishments spritz alcohol on them too).
