Napapaisip din ako sa deposit ko with an offshore bank. My friend told me (whose wife works there as a VP) na there is news that the bank might exit PH because they have few depositors here, though this bank has been in existence here since the 80s (dun na Dad ko)

Ginawa na rin namin yan mag exit ng countries where our business isn't that big, so hindi talaga malayo mangyari. Anyway, bibilhin lang naman yan ng ibang bangko, kung BDO bibili nyan, mapipilitan ako mag CT kahit napaka inconvenient ng location nila

kaya it doesn't make sense to me why a taipan will sell his bank

the whole point (for taipans) to own their own bank is coz they use financial services so often that it makes sense for them to own a bank

they all have their own banks (kesa gumamit ng bangko ng ibang tao)

Sy bdo, Ayala bpi, Tan pnb, Gokongwei robinson's bank, Jack Ng (rebisco) AUB, San Miguel bank of commerce, Yuchengco rcbc, Aboitiz unionbank etc
