I had to go through similar nung na dormant yung account. I had to go to the branch tapos dami ng pina update sakin yung signature and information. What a nightmare. Pati sa ID ang strict e hindi naman lahat may multiple valid ids

Sinabay na siguro ang customer info update, all banks request their clients to update their info, but they can't make them come so they take advantage of your presence, ang kinaiinis ko ay meron ng ruling na 1 valid ID na lang required to open a bank account and yet the bank, even some managers asks for 2.

Multiple valid ids, yan agad ang unang nagpapahinto ng proseso.. Nakakalungkot, if maka observe ng ganyan.. Gusto na mag ipon kaso walang "multiple" valid ids.. gagastos pa time and money makapag comply sa multiple ids.. Kaya sana meron na lang centralized id..

this centralized ID will be just another of the "two government IDs" to choose from.
i mean, if they can't trust one government ID alone, why should they trust one centralized ID only?
if they trust one centralized ID alone, why shouldn't they trust one driver's license, SSS or GSIS ID, pasaporte, etc, only?

I think, What misseks is trying to say doc ia that, the centralized id is like the resident id in other countries... shempre if you drive a car you should have license id separate from resident id... pero yung driver license mo naka connect pa din sa resident id... so if you want to check your violations just type in your resident id then you will see...


Also, yung resident id, yan na yung pinaka id mo like for any goverment transaction or mag open ng bank, buying a sim, claim sss or gsis, any transaction that needs your personal info. Sa resident id napupunta... so all your personal information, bank accounts, criminal records and etc will be linked sa resident id which is easier to track a person and isang id lang need for any transaction that needs valid id... compared to what we have currently, ang hirap talaga...

I think, What misseks is trying to say doc ia that, the centralized id is like the resident id in other countries... shempre if you drive a car you should have license id separate from resident id... pero yung driver license mo naka connect pa din sa resident id... so if you want to check your violations just type in your resident id then you will see...

I agree with the doc, I just don't see us doing that type of ID, think UMID, di ba this represents at least 2 IDs, thus named universal? Subukan mo gamitin sa bank, sigurado hihingan ka pa ng 1 more ID

Yung sa UMID hindi na ako nag apply nyan.. Weird mas gusto ng bank yung original na SSS ID..
Ang gusto ko dyan sa centralized id yung binigay na detailed info ni Ray.. Sana ireview nila maigi, make it a law or something para hindi na redundant talaga.. Consult an IT expert para i-integrate lahat ng information.. Of course hindi siya madali, pero in the long run mas maganda talaga sya.. Convinient and mas matipid..

will they install centralized ID readers, to verify the genuiness of the ID? or, i-se-serocks lang din?

i mean,
if they do not take trouble to install card verifiers, i see no point in demanding this or that card...

yes a two factor comm system should be in place. i can't do govt stuff here without getting sms codes from the registered phone number and my registered id number.

Yesterday nagpa activate ako ng dormant usd account ko sa bpi... 3 forms to fill and 2 ids need...

also, i dont know why i have to rewrite again my same info and address... napaka manual ang system...

pwede naman bigyan nila ako ng data from their system and check ko if same kami ng current data ko and if not that’s the time na dapat i.update and only the data not updated needs to be updated... hindi yung parang nag open ka ulit ng new account... hahaha...

actually,
it is this very same jose velarde issue, that gave rise to the strictification of many business processes that we are currently experiencing.
before jose velarde, it was very easy to deal with banks et al.
revamping and more "conscientious" practice of business policies, became stricter literally almost overnight, because of jose velarde.

palpak yan bpi na yan. 3wks to get my card. buti nakuha ko before i flew out. I couldn't even activite my online banking kase late dumating ang card. fock bpi..

BDO only took 3days. booty maganda yun accounts personnel nila. she was asking, who are you going to send allowances to sir? ... nagpapa ramdam ang white hair ko.
