That's easy. Just sponsor a procession of the Nazareno and gather devotees to the Grandstand once a month. Pero yun lang. You're gonna have to budget for 500,000-2 Million devotees' lunches/drinks and snacks. Eh kung budget of Php 200 per person 'yan...Php 400 Million down the drain kaagad. Wala pa yung expenses logistics of bringing the food there.

That's like the money equivalent of a presidential campaign. Not worth it considering na hindi naman lahat yan botante.

As someone who lived in western manila for more than a decade, i can feel you when you say na naglalakad ka since walang masakyan.

I get your drift about tolerance, the point being, hanggang kelan mo itotolerate yan? Yeah sure, one day event wont ruin the economy, but that one day event may have ruined ordinary peoples schedule, timelines, etc.
Office doesnt care if you live nearby or have to walk km's just to get to the office. Suppliers / office as well are affected since many people are also taking leave to join the procession.

Point is, if the event caused a whole city to be freezed out, then that should change.

Im not saying it is bad to celebrate, each of us has its own beliefs, pero kung nakakaistorbo ka na, should it be time to review the process and adjust it to changing times? Hindi naman porke majority eh yun na ang gusto ng lahat. Also, a little respect din naman sa mga ibang tao na di naman inask magambala, pero naapektuhan parin. (Respect should be 2 ways).

my thoughts are that it works just like the usual rear back-up warning systems, except that this one (based on the picture) appears to have only one "sensor".
as such, it should be easier to DIY.
i wonder, what is the angle of coverage?

Reminds me of some drivers in Tagaytay last December. Maulan kasi nun so ang kapal ng fog. As expected, naka-hazard ang mga kolokoy.
