So that is the 150,000? It's so hard because most jobs in my expected salary (current salary + 5%) are all at least managerial
Ideally nga current salary + 20% kasi parang not worth it lumipat with an increase below 20%. There are positions na branch head ng retail banking. But I have zero experience in retail. But I like that there are banks near my house, I can just walk to work

Just divide 150k by 13. All companies are mandated by law to give 13th month pay so it's really just the 14th and 15th that you get as extra. Come negotiation, you should also include any performance bonuses you receive annually as part if the computation.
I would also agree that you should get around a 20% increase to make the jump worth it. It could be a little lower, as long as there are other perks that you don't have with your current job (such as proximity to your house, or flexible work hours).

Bro.,- based on our information and some level of benchmarking,- I know of at least a couple of prominent BPO companies who incorporate their mandated 13th month pay in their "basic salary".... Hawa nga e...
This is the reason why I was wondering how they could get away with it....

I am starting to check for jobs online and majority of the jobs that are available are BPO and shifting
Before graduation, we were given a list of companies that should be our targets (Shell, Unilever, P&G, J&J Citibank, HSBC, Nestle etc) None of those companies have openings online (except for their shared service business) Consider yourself lucky if you work for an MNC. I don't like working on shift and BPOs don't have much benefits and a high turrnover rate. I really prefer a company where employees can stay until retirement. My former manager left the bank and joined the BPO of Shell and did not last one year because of the culture. She is discouraging me from applying there knowing my personality daw

That company is in the "second star to the right".....
The landscape of employer-employee relationship has significantly changed through the years....
Companies are in for profit and profit alone. They're not anymore akin to Country Clubs.....

Consider though that if you join Shell's shared service center (SSSC), it could be your ticket to entering PSPC (Pilipinas Shell) or perhaps even SPEX (Shell Philippines Exploration - in charge of Malampaya). SSSC isn't really a BPO through and through - there are roles there that are of higher job groups than in PSPC.
I know of a business developer from PSPC who was transferred to SSSC as an Ops Manager and that was considered a promotion. More commonly, there are a lot of SSSC dispatch assistants who get promoted to become Territory Managers or Key Account Managers.
Also, not all MNCs are created equal - whether it's pay grade or culture, some are more "first-world" than others.
You can apply for most MNCs through the Career pages of their websites - you fill up a form, attach your resume, and your application gets stored in their talent pool and you might get called up when a position opens up. However, I think it's much more effective if you can get someone who works in the MNC you're eyeing to hook you up with HR for any opportunities available.
Having a LinkedIn account helps too - the headhunter who linked me up with my current job just found me via LinkedIn.

It's looking a lot like a certain cruiser with that color scheme.
