But I suppose it is not a whim purchase. People don't just spend P30k kasi "napadaan". You can use a cell phone for years. I bought my phone in 2013 for around that amount. I use it not just for calls and text but also as a calendar and organizer. So far the best use for me is on the treadmill while I exercise.

What do you mean? Husbands are expected to give more expensive gifts than family (parents/grandparents)? Sana nga makahanap ako ng ganun. My family is quite generous with gift giving and I would be ecstatic if I would have a husband just as generous.

My BF (then) and I don't believe in that saying. If a wife is only good because her husband is making her happy, what happens next when the man loses her livelihood (maghirap sila) or becomes bedridden and the man cannot make her "happy" anymore?

If I were a man, I would run for the hills when a woman believes in "happy wife, happy life". Parang napaka entitled at high maintenance.

with that magic plastic, the credit card, it's sooo easy....
one may use the gadget for a long time afterward, but that does not negate the fact that it was bought at the flick of the wrist, writing one's signature.

i wonder... how many buyers do some research before purchasing the item?

we'll my wife gave up everything just to stay with me, life in the states, then child birth wrecked havoc on their bodies, most men are pigs, infidelity is part and parcel of it, she still stays....2nd, 3rd, 4th chance even....., now i just keep her happy, tahimik ang buhay pag walang away... i even trained myself not to make patol when shes nagging me, i just listen there, pero la akong naririnig, galing..i just see her lips moving.....sa loob ko, bahala ka dyan, maya ok na uli na tayo, para walng nangyari...creampie

Meron na nga ngayon "push present" where the husband gives the wife an expensive gift (jewelry, handbag or watch) for giving birth. Kawawa naman mga husbands na wala masyadong disposable income.
