does anyone know how the "meron forever" became so popular? Jessica Soho did a feature on it of an old couple working together. It proves that there is "forever". I don't really think it was special. My grandparents were together until old age din. Then I saw a Mcdo commercial of Nino Muhlach about "forever" It really puzzles me how that phrase became popular.

It started with "walang forever" memes all over the internet. Then the ABS CBN teleserye ForeverMore got people hooked and the counter-movement of "may forever" was born as fans rooted for the Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil loveteam to flourish.

Perhaps an indicator too of the current global culture's tendency towards short-term/non-committal relationships.

Dahil yan sa mga jeje at malanding kabataan na papalit palit ng ka relasyon. Pag nag break wala na daw forever. Tapos pag nagkaroon ng bago pang forever daw yun. And the process starts again.

Valkyrie naman may issue against cross-dressers......

Vice Ganda slams 'no crossdresser policy' at BGC club

    06/23/2015 11:46 AM ABS-CBNnews.com

MANILA – Influential TV host and comedian Vice Ganda has threatened to pull out his shares from Valkyrie following news that a transgender was denied entrance to the posh club over a “no crossdresser policy.”

On Twitter, the openly gay celebrity said he will “pull out my very small share” if Valkyrie “implements this crap.”

He went on to express support for the lesbian, gay, bi***ual and transgender (LGBT) community.

Over the weekend, transgender fashion designer Veejay Floresca was denied entry to Valkyrie. On Facebook, Floresca lamented the incident and hoped that the club will change its stance and not “dehumanize people because of their decisions to be themselves.”

What happened to me last night was very sad. I still can't believe that some people still think transgenders as... Posted by Veejay Floresca on Sunday, June 21, 2015

    Valkyrie apologizes

Meanwhile, Valkyrie sent a statement to the entertainment website Pep.ph and apologized over the incident involving Floresca, stressing that the club “does not refuse entry on the basis of an individual’s ***ual orientation.”

“The management of Valkyrie Nightclub and The Palace Pool Club wishes to clarify that it does not discriminate against transwomen and transgender individuals… The Club has, on many previous occasions, welcomed transgender guests into its premises,” Valkyrie said as quoted in an article on Pep.ph published Tuesday.

It said, however, that the club’s security personnel “were merely adhering to its safety policies and guidelines.”

“Valkyrie Nightclub and The Palace Pool Club are private establishments. As such, they reserve the right to determine who will be permitted entry into their premises,” Valkyrie said.

Still, Valkyrie said its management “recognizes that it may be necessary to provide further training to its staff to ensure that they are better able to communicate the club’s guidelines and policies to its patrons in order to avoid misunderstanding in the future.”

What's the big deal? Their house, their rules....bakit kasi pinipilit ng mga cross dressing badings na pumasok sa club na yan, para ma take home ng foreigners.

    Doon sila sa makati ave

Agree with you,- IMO, house rules nga e....

Parang pumasok ka sa bahay ng iyong kaibigan,- you are subject to his/her house rules....

Hindi puwedeng itaas ang paa sa silya. Hindi puwedeng malaswa ang pag-uusapan (unless okay rin sa kanya)... Basic courtesy iyan e.

O pumunta ka sa ibang bansa,- like the Middle East kung saan bawal ang tumitig sa mga babae (pag Pinoy raw kasi,- kapag tumitig,- parang nanghuhubad e... )

O sa isang club na dapat ay hindi naka-tsinelas, sando, o shorts,- kaya nga nagbibigay ng blazer or coat e...

Basically the same principle, even if paid entrance. The host reserves the right to accept or not to accept guests, based on his preferred conditions/configurations.

Ikaw talaga bro.shadow,- pa "to go" kaagad ang nasa-isip e...

Sabi nung tranny complainant (sa DZBB) dati raw pag may reservation sila (VIP), nakakapasok daw sila, no questions asked. Kaso that time daw, nag-walkin lang daw sila ng grupo nila, kasi wala sila reservation. Ang VIP pala is worth P15k, while pag walk-in, dapat P800 minimum ang i-budget mo (consumables).
