    rich families at their peak they had cashflow on top savings (that went to buying property)

    then cashflow stopped but they still had savings + property

    the heirs are too lazy to create new cashflow so they live off the savings

    they're unwilling to shift to a lower standard of living (coz they're too proud). kung ano lifestyle nila when they had cashflow ganyan parin lifestyle nila kahit wala na cashflow

    they sell property to finance their lifestyle

    eventually they would have sold off all their property and depleted their savings
