Sobrang mahal pala ng PMS ng Mazda ano?

Compared to my Civic, with similar items, it costs less than 10k.

The quote from 1 dealership isn't enough basis for a general conclusion. I always DIY our maintenance, but when I realized the lone local Mazda dealership here had reasonable labor & parts rates, that took away whatever incentive self help would've given. Trick is to ask, opt....not be dictated. [emoji4]

Oh, ask their parts dept how much a bottle of Mazda FL22 coolant is. It shouldn't be more than P1k for the 1 shown below. Grab 1 for DIY top up.

Finally did the PMS after 1 and a half years. Here's the breakdown after Yojin 3 expires. I had all the checks done and also bought and replaced the front windshield wipers (never been replaced since buying the unit). I wouldn't have done some of those as advised by travs but since I haven't brought it in for a year and a half I figured it wouldn't hurt to have the others done.:

ang mahal pala after ng Yojin-3. (still have 2 years to go)

Pero sa PMS list with Yojin-3 wala naman yung mga xxxxx cleaner.
At usually nasa less than 5k lang ang total bill.

Oil + filter change lang ba ang required?

Woah! that synthetic oil is expensive. And what are those deposit cleaner and oil cleaner? are those additives or engine flush?

I had my oil changed at Motech after Yojin. Just last week cost me just a little over P2,500. Filter, oil flushing fluid and 4L Zic oil. Opted out of coolant top ups and washer fluid) (I do that myself anyway).

Here's a sample of Toyota's. Oil is mineral. OEM will always be pricier than equivalents....anywhere.

Is mazda still using shell oil?
5 liters of FS shell oil is still cheaper at shell gas stations i think.

Mazda is using Shell Helix Ultra Pro FS 5w-30. For SkyD, 0w-30 ACEA C3. Not all stations carry these.
