Huhuhuhu.. help! ung FC ko is still hovering at around 9kms/liter (9.36 to be exact). Odometer reading is at 4,700kms.

As I recall, you were at 5,000kms when your FC was at 9.3kms/liter? And then, it went up to 9.9kms/liter (Odometer is 5,????) and now finally at 10.3kms/liter (Current odo is ?,????)

We are the same in which I go to work very early, and go back home very early/late to avoid the traffic jams. I very rarely get stuck in traffic since I just dont drive when I see one.

Regarding IDLING STOP

I read that shutting down the engine when you are in situations wherein the car will stop for a few minutes, e.g. waiting for the stop light, can help lessen gas load. A test was made and it said that the test cars saved on the average 13% gas when doing Idling stop.

However, baka nmn masira ung ibang parts ng car? like alternator or starter or fuse or something?

Does anyone know about this?

Minsan kasi mejo matagal ung paghihintay. It goes anywhere from 2-5min depending on the 'mood' of the MMDA personnel doing the traffic so I was thinking might as well shut the engine down.
