Ok ang pricing nya IMHO..Good one Mazda Philippines..

Mas may mura pang hatchback dyan at yun ang Suzuki Swift(CBU sya from Japan at mas ok pero this one's small)...Yaris at Vios?Very dull IMHO and not that great,kung nilabas lang TMPC rito ang 1.3 liter Yaris eh mabenta to pero ayaw ng Toyota Thailand na gumawa ng 1.3 liter variant nyan..

Sana ilabas din dito ang 1.3 Liter Sedan variant next year also ng Mazda2..

Only time will tell if the 2 offers better driving dynamics or interior quality, though. I do hope so, considering its sister the Ford Fiesta was rumored to be coming ashore.

No idea. Rumors pa lang kasi, yun nga, may plant na sa Thailand that's making the Fiesta for the ASEAN region, kaya malaki chance na dadating dito yun.

Unless Ford Philippines pulls a Nissan Philippines.

Expect huge discounts for Mazda 2 pag matagal tagal ng nandito to maybe about 6 months or 1 year. Yung price ng Mazda 2, magiging ka level na ng vios, Hula ko lang! Syempre Mazda 2 na ako nun, sarap ba namang idrive mga Mazda na tsikot.

And for the Ford Fiesta, tingin ko ide-delay muna ng FGP ang pag la-launch nito locally(di lang natin alam kung 2Q, 3Q, basta 2010 to ila-launch malamang). Hahayaan muna kumain ng market share ang Mazda 2 sa subcompact market. Ako mas type ko Fiesta sa MAzda 2.

Ayaw nilang mangyari syempre yung nangyari sa CX-7, na after few weeks lang ni-launch, may competitor na kagad sya(Tucson iX). Sana napaaga pa ng 6 months launch date ng CX-7 para mahaba haba ang penetration nya sa compact SUV market.

Wala nyan rito dahil baka umabot sa 900K ang Mazda2 at new gen Fiesta pag nangyari yan..Pero may 1.3 Liter gas variant din soon..

Kung pareho ang diesel engine ng Mazda 2 at ng Ford Fiesta Econetic, posibleng bumenta rin dito yan kahit mahal. Mas mahal yung econetic model ng Fiesta pero madami sila nabenta sa Europe. Dinaig pa nito sa tipid yung Toyota Prius na hybrid car.

Gusto ko rin magkaroon dito ng diesel variant ang Mazda 2 at Ford Fiesta.

The Yaris 1.5 AT is 766K. The Suzuki Swift 1.5 AT is P765K. The Honda Jazz 1.5 AT is P833K. And the bigger and better Honda City 1.5 AT is P811K. While more expensive than Mazda the Jazz and City have better build.

The Mazda2 is overpriced at P795K. Looks similar to an i10 but that's like saying butter is the same as margarine. The Mazda2 is way ahead of the Hyundai i10.

I really like the Mazda3 and love our old Mazda 323 Familia (talk about passenger space on a sedan!). I hope Mazda prices more competitively.

Body looks, the City might win in aggressiveness, but the Mazda 2 sedan has a distinct look of its own, maybe a bit more tamed than the City but more aggressive looking than the Vios.

(I think the meanest looking Subcompact will be the Chevy Cruze actually)

The Cruze isn't in the same category as the City, Vios, 2.

I don't think the 2 looks similar to the i10. Proportions look much better

remember guys na winner ng World Car of the year award 2008 in new york ang mazda 2. So tingin ko me laban sya pero how i wish binabaan nila ang price, maski kadikit man lang sana ng Vios 1.5AT or swift ng suzuki..
