Can you please share what you've seen, in case some others will experience the same. Better if you have pictures.

Hope you can get it fixed at lower cost.
I left the car sa casa and I'll pick it up tomorrow to see the actual damage.

My friend who owns Minerva suggested to try a rubberized tape first. Then when I go to the US later this month, I'll buy the harness.

We do have a rat problem sa garage. I just didn't think they would use the engine bay as a house. I also did not use the car for a week prior to Friday.

Ok. Got the car back from the Casa. 1 month for parts to arrive so I decided to bring it to Martins near ATC. Here's the damage caused by the rodents. Injector wire completely chewed off.

2 hours and 900 pesos later...

Car is back to normal. Check engine light is now off.

I'm having the dealer replace it with a legit GPS system since I didn't want it in the first place.

No, I bought the trim kit sa US plus the wiring harness. I also upgraded the speakers.

    The OEM backup camera works.

The only issue is that I can't change the clock and info on the dashboard without reconnecting the old head unit.

I'll buy a harness that will let me connect the OEM radio on an extra plug without disconnecting the aftermarket unit next week when I go to the US.

The A/C was not working after replacing the OEM headunit with an aftermarket. They said that it might be caused by aftermarket harness since the A/C works with the OEM HU.

Here's the parts list that I used to change my Head Unit to a Pioneer Dual Din 2550-BT

    Interface Module
[ame=http://www.amazon.com/PAC-RP4-MZ11-Replacement-Programmed-Navigation/dp/B0095UH3O2]Amazon.com: PAC RP4-MZ11 Radio Replacement Interface With Built In Pre Programmed Steering Wheel Control Retention and Navigation Outputs: Car Electronics[/ame]

Wiring Harness - This one allows you to hook up the old radio on a separate plug so the time and display info can be changed without removing the after market radio.

Dual Din Dash Kit - NOt sure why it says 2009..but my CX9 is 2012/3 and it fits
    [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Metra-99-7516B-Single-Installation-2007-2009/dp/B002U5QA3Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1395368611&sr =1-1&keywords=metra+99-7516B]Amazon.com: Metra 99-7516B Single DIN/Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2007-2009 Mazda CX9 (Black): Electronics[/ame]

I did not have problems with the install with these parts ready. I even got the backup camera working.
