The roaring noise and vibration is still not fixed after Mazda Greenhills replaced the Tensioner Bearing. Berjaya's recommendation of replacing the Catalytic Converter made it worse.
I sent an email to Berjaya's Dave Macasadia to file a formal complaint. I told him that I will let them do the diagnostics for the last time. If this will not be fixed then I want to demand a replacement.

They will check it again on Monday and will put more sensors to check where the noise is coming from.
I've made some research and parang common yung ganitong noise sa Mazda cars. Some of the US CX9 owners gave up since the dealers there were not able to fix it. Others were fixed by replacing the catalytic converter. I actually forwarded the forum links to Mazda para makita din nila. Parang yung torque converter yung recommended sa isang case sa US.

Good evening brothers, can you give me a ball park figure on how much does a 08 or 09 top of the line 4x4 cx9 cost? odo currently is at 23k.
someone is selling it at 1.3m parang too expensive? but for sure no problems or hidden defects since the ones selling is a family friend.
Whats the difference pala sa new model and the previous one?
Thanks
If I remember correctly, in 2008/09, brand new 4x4 CX9 at that time was around 2.4M++. Depreciate it by 4 or 5 years, mukhang tama lang yung quote sa yo.
Iba pa itsura ng 2008/2009 model sa lumabas nung 2010-2012 (smiling frog face). This year lumabas yung Kodo (puppy face). Pero inside, they are almost the same, except for some minor details.
Also you can check Sulit, there's one selling 2013 CX9 I think for around P1.7M++
I was going to use my 2013 CX9 this morning when I noticed the engine being sluggish and the yellow transmission light was blinking on the dashboard. I immediately drove it back to the house and parked. Anybody have any idea on what it could be? Is it safe to drive to the casa to get it checked out?

I hope it's just dirty fuel or loose gas cap. I'll be home later to check it out.

Well..fuel cap is on tight so that's not it.
I feel the engine not running very smoothly with the rpm fluctuating about 200 rpm up and down. There's also cyclic sound coming from the engine bay, like something is out of sync.
I'll drive it to Mazda Alabang (instead of Greenhills) on Monday to get it checked out.
Drove it to Mazda Alabang this morning.
Nabahayan daw ng daga and damaged one of wirings to the injectors. Total price quote to repair is 29k and change. Parts alone will be 22k daw. I'm trying to now source and maybe get it fixed somewhere else. Looking online, the same part goes for around 220usd in the US.
Maybe, just have it towed in a flatbed truck instead of driving it sa casa?

Pls take some pics so experts can share their view, baka simple and low cost lang pala ang tamang solution.
