so meaning iba ang battery ng cx5 awd? nako! mahirap yata yan pag tapos na ang serviceable life niya. pag sa casa it might cost $$$$$.

pero ok talaga sa features ah. kargado talaga.

Daytime running lights (turns on when shift lever is in Drive and handbrake is disengaged)

That's about it guys. Feel free to correct me if I made any mistakes or missed anything.

As of the moment, I think the CX-5 AWD Sport is the most feature packed Japanese mid-sized SUV/CUV available in the Philippines. I think only the European luxury SUVs can rival it but they cost twice or thrice as much.

Kudos to Berjaya for bringing in the CX-5 AWD Sport. Hopefully next time they will include the Smart City Brake Support(available in the US version) and add Adaptive Cruise Control( the Subaru Forester is the only Japanese car that I know that has this feature but unfortunately it's not available in the local release of the forester).

The new CX-5 variant practically has everything Mazda could offer. If only it was a bigger SUV ...

It's so JDM even its Geolandars are made in Japan and not Subic

My dad just got 15kpl on his 2.0MT. Provincial hiway driving (trikes, tractors, carabaos, chickens, dogs, logging trucks, drunk villagers, etc) with two hefty adults on board

    Hiramin ko list ni WilsonL

    The 2.0 does NOT have
    2.5L 4x4 skyactive engine (2.0 4x2)
    19" aluminum alloy wheels (17")
    Leather seats
9 BOSE speakers (6 speakers. no idea what brand)
    I-Stop function
    HID Bi-xenon autoleveling headlights
Adaptive Front-lighting (AFL) - headlights turn to the direction where your steering wheel turns.
    Auto-light control on/off headlights
    Rearview backup camera
    Rain-sensing variable-intermittent windshield wipers
Rear Vehicle Monitoring System for blindspots
8-way power driver's seat with power adjust lumbar support
    Moonroof
    Auto-dimming rearview mirror
    Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) IIRC
    Lane Departure Warning System
High Beam Control System (activates when headlights are in auto and set to high beam) operates when speed is 30km/h or higher by switching to high beam when there are no vechicles in front of you or approaching in the opposite direction.
Daytime running lights (turns on when shift lever is in Drive and handbrake is disengaged)

I think that list justifies the 200k+ price diff

Yeah but I don't think our diesels are fit for their engines. Even Honda has diesel CR-V's in Europe that they can't bring here.

    Hi Fellow Tsikoteers,

Do you know where I can buy mud/splash guards for the CX-5? Does the 2.0L version have splash guards? I tried asking auto shops in banawe but they don't have it. I asked Mazda greenhills also but still no reply. TIA.
