Since I got my ride last April 30, I'll seen 5 CX-5's on the road. 2 silvers, 2 blues and 1 red. I'd like to have all colors please!

I've been trying to coax my parents into buying a CX-5. Last weekend, we were at theater mall, and MGH had a red CX-5 displayed. Gandang-ganda yung Nanay ko sa color. Sayang May 2013 pa nakabudget yung pagbili nila ng car, pero baka naman by then my Thai units na (hopefully mas mura, or bigger discount, or mas loaded)

May pag-asa nga ba magkaroon ng thai units, or CBU Japan lang?

Mazda Philippines is shooting themselves in the foot with their pricing. Only Honda gets away with selling JDM-spec units at a premium.

Recently I talked to one of the Mazda sales reps in their display in Trinoma, and she was trying to sell me the Mazda 3. I asked, "for 1M pesos, why the hell will I get this overpriced, slow and thirsty sedan over the Elantra or Altis?"

Sabi ba naman, "Eh anong brand ba yung Elantra? Kami sir, Japan". In the back of my head I was like, "Loko ka pala, you have no right to think of yourselves as a prestigious brand, not after you closed down a few years back and only had your butts saved by FGP".

I just said though, "Yung Elantra 4-times COTY, eh yang Mz3?"

BTT, I agree the CX-5 is a good car - looks good, drives well, pretty decent features. Medyo mahal nga lang. Kung nasa 1.3M lang price range niyan for the AT version, I'm sure it'll sell as well as the Mazda 3 did a few years back.

I can't get over it... I find the CX-5 deathly ugly. Comparable to the Ssangyong Stavic.

Sir Vertigo, just wondering if the available CX-5 models now in the philippines have 4x4 or all wheel drive options. Any idea? Thanks.

Sir IMm29, thanks for the info. Wishing there will be an MT with 4x4.
