Okay sa akin kahit kelan yung EB - location - I vote for Pasig or QC area.

To zner - 80 kph is NOT acceptable as the top speed of your pickup - there are a lot of possible reasons, beginning with the fuel system, make sure you have it checked out properly.

1st - replace the fuel filter, water separator and have the fuel strainer in the injection pump cleaned - look for my old posts concerning this in this thread.

2nd - if that doesn't work bring your baby to the next EB and let us have a look see. Also you can bring it to a trusted fuel injection specialist - Pls look up my old posts as to the location and telephone number of DRT.

Dear PickUpper - you definitely have to go over the trucks with a fine-toothed comb to find a diamond in the rough. If I'm not mistaken, one of our members - Sir Gerivic is considering selling his ride - why don't you PM him and set up a meeting - you may like what you see.

well i have browse some of the previous thread and its been very helpful and educational.... hmmm by the way i have just change my timing belt and tensioner but my warning light glow for my timing belt didnt switch off.. does it need to be reset? or what? i hope to have few ideas.. thanks a lot...
by the way even my ride is 18 yrs old i just hit my 100 mark just a month ago.

mazda truck assembled by one of the local companies ;)
the radiator has never been filled with a coolant. it was recently opened and cleaned. it would always drain with brown water before. best i can do is distilled water for now.

gear shift pala ang common name.

okay lang po without coolant BUT better kung meron. i recommend the shell blue coolant. pour in a bottle and fill the rad up with absolute/wilkins distilled water.

i think the problem with your gear shift lever is the bushing. try contacting fordland or mazford or autorama. they might have the part you need.
