well i have browse some of the previous thread and its been very helpful and educational.... hmmm by the way i have just change my timing belt and tensioner but my warning light glow for my timing belt didnt switch off.. does it need to be reset? or what? i hope to have few ideas.. thanks a lot...
by the way even my ride is 18 yrs old i just hit my 100 mark just a month ago.

1st of all - Welcome to our humble thread.

2nd - as to the timing belt light, there should be a button on the instrument panel/dashboard which you push that will reset the counter for another 100,000 km.

body repair (not diy)
grease suspension
inspect/fix lame gear stick like it needs viagra
change:
oil & filters
gear oil
differential oil
fuel filter

Welcome to our humble thread!

The recommended intervals are:

Oil, air and fuel filters - 5 000 km
Differential & Gear oil - 20 000 km
Greasing - as needed (particularly if na-babad sa baha)
Body repair - asap

If your gear shift feels rubbery, have a good mechanic inspect the SELECTOR BUSHING to see if it is worn - it probably is - and replace it.

my apology i wasnt able to reply on ur last msg sir, i got too busy at work on the afternoon anyway sir, i just posted a couple pix of my ride, all stock mostly same R2 engine, i just replaced the airconditioning unit and a bit of mods but physically lang, i just want it bo neat may pag ka neat freak ako minsan hehehe

*dusky: i think the reset button in the cluster is for the trip meter. It doesnt reset the main odometer back to zero...well that is what my truck has. It might be different for the 2500's. Cheers. EB na !

i did replace my a/c unit to OEM specs 3 years ago kaso nahihinaan ako sa buga ng blower nya ngayon. may iba pa kaya na blower na pwede sa mga truck natin na OEM din na pwede kunin sa ibang auto?

maganda yang pagiging neat sir! ang feeling mo eh laging magaan ang loob ng auto sayo kaya hindi ka bibigyan ng problema sa daan!

i did replace my a/c unit to OEM specs 3 years ago kaso nahihinaan ako sa buga ng blower nya ngayon. may iba pa kaya na blower na pwede sa mga truck natin na OEM din na pwede kunin sa ibang auto?

sir azzkkr2600 i just used the typical insert image thing.. i was able to preview it lumabasa naman sya and i can see it in my post.. try checking ur applications...

about the blower thing i replaced my compressor that one of the L300 sanden japan then replace ako ng evaporator which my aircon mechanic (w/c happens to be just a neighbor of mine) got it brandnew i forgot the exact specs last year pa kasi yun salpak naman parang oem nga eh i didnt replace nor change anything inside except for the switch. perhaps u can check it out next EB... la nmn problem sa blower hi and low nga lang but yung low malakas na eh... i'll try asking the my mechanic about the specs...

well said sir, our rides needs some extra caring so that in a way they take care of u...tska with our old school ride need natin maging neat para atleast u never get out of tune...

yep kelangan talaga ng TLC! mine's already 22 years old. so shorter ang timeframe ng periodic maintenance like oil change: every 3000km or 5months whichever comes first. all other fluids are replaced every year -- bago or just after the new year para happy si mazda pickup. hehe.

Pasensya medyo nanahimik ako ng matagal medyo nasobrahan lang ng trabaho. Anyway, welcome sa lahat ng bago and I hope to see you guys soon sa next na EB natin. Well for the EB game ako on Nov 7. okay sana yung Oct 30 kaya lang baka may mga umuwi ng provinces para sa Nov 1 holiday. I was so overwhelmed and happy nung makita ko na nasa page 86 na tyo! (ang tagal ko din kasi di nakapagbasa) I can't remember kung anong page pa yung nagsimula maging active tong thread natin! I read on the earlier post na someone was asking kung pano magmember. I just forgot you name dahil sa dami ng nabasa but as of now wala pa naman tayong formal membership. Basta everyone is welcome!
