Please list down your top 3.

    Thank you

My affair w/ the hobo hatch is now on its 4th year. Outside the basic PMS, I've only replaced the batt & am on my 2nd set of brake pads. Low on maintenance, you might say...YES!!!
But, I must forewarn about gathering the discipline & the resistance to the temptation of modding....mine succumbed & crumbled countless times. It will be futile[emoji17]

The way you say it, it's more of like, "it is safe to modify and customize it". I've been itching to try the "illumination" for the lock/unlock switch. Well, I got used to it by touching it. It is indeed a discipline...

By the way, I finally got the name of the "Pentel pen" that I use to hide scratches. It is MANTIS SCRATCH REPAIR PEN. It won't remove the scratch, it just "hide" it (I think someone asked about it here, or perhaps in another thread, I forget).

With these Ms, a big part of the fun is in driving. The other? The caring, tinkering & making it yours.[emoji4]
Some just don't have the gift of patience to wait the warranty out....Carpe diem!!!! Good thing Kodos have proven reliable.[emoji4]

Sir could you explain further yun issue sa R18 tires. Alam ko those pneumatic tire remover basically fits different sizes. Unless na till 17" lang ang capacity nila.

This is more a tech skill issue than equipment. Most basic 1s can handle up to 22. On our cars are tires w/ aspect ratio of 45 & under. I only go to specific tire men I trust. Some shops may have the latest equipment...but a crew that's still learning. They might use machine limits an excuse. You won't wanna be their guinea.[emoji17]

Some of the tire repair shops don't have the peunamtic tire remover that would fit for R18. R16 and lower are much more common.

The repair guys at a tire shop I went to along West ave QC told me it's much more difficult to remove the tire rubber from R18. It took 3 guys just to remove the rubber whilst protecting the mag wheel from scratches.

The tire shop have 4 pneumatic tire removers, one seems special for R18 wheels.

I almost became a guinea pig at a Goodyear servitek branch at QC. The repair guy already removed the screw from the tire when he realized the R18 mag wheel won't fit with the shop's tire remover. The repair guy told me that they had a previous customer where the R18 mag wheels got severely scrapped by the tire remover. That's an experience from the repair guy that spared me from such horrible experience!

That M3 speed model with tire pressure monitoring system is at more risk getting damaged from inexperienced tire shops.

I couldn't agree more with the fun of driving the M3! I always look forward driving the M3 despite the horrendous traffic conditions!

As for taking care of the car's paint, the ceramic coating made it much easier to clean the car. Hopefully with the proper washing practices, I'll be able to keep the car swirl and scratch free for years.

True. The 3 calms me in static traffic. A drawback I've noted is having that constant urge to go for the longer route to wherever you're headed....That Kodo Effect.[emoji17]
Grats on the sound decision to protect the paint early. For those who are about to take delivery, best to advise the dealership to skip the paint detail step of their PDI. Let the pros like Technical Details have the 1st touch.

I wonder if there's an automatic tire remover that can safely remove/install the tire rubber. There's one at 1st world countries, but probably none here at our hobo country.

I always go for the longer route for the fun of driving. Even with the 1st gen Mazda, I took the longer Maharlika highway that passes through Camarines Sur from Bicol instead of taking the bumpy roads at Andaya highway. I feel like I'm that Spanish F1 driver Fernando Alonso who just want to drive and drive [emoji23]

Hahaha. A bonus I've noted...trips that used to require filling up 1 way can now be taken roundtrip w/o gas stops. Fun & efficiency...the best of both worlds.[emoji4]

You're from QC sir? Ako din [emoji16]. I'll take note of that 18" problem. So I should presume that same goes for my 19's.

Is. Our TPMS stock OEM or aftermarket?

I'm from Caloocan but usually drive around QC.

My M3 doesn't have the tpms. The M3 speed has one.

Sirs, speaking of aftermarket modifications. Does changing the headlights of V from Halogen to LED, void the warranty?

Do you know if the M3 Speed TPMS is valve type or based on the diameter/revolution of the wheel.

I don't know unfortunately. I initially thought my M3 has one. My SA told me there should be a tpms for my model, the R hatchback variant.

Wonder why Mazda switched back to direct valve TPMS that isn't paired w/ absolute pressure display. The US BM3s had the indirect wheel speed sensor TPMS which was more economical & durable for practically the same function.
Added hardware=added cost when they go. Plus, not all aftermarket wheels can take em w/o adapters.[emoji53]
