2nd-hand Mazda 3 advice

this week pupuntahan ko na yung mazda 3 na gusto ko. 2009 2.0 tapos 45k mileage. 349k. kaya lang naguguluhan ako sa seller kasi last time ang price nya is 339k tapos tumaas? ok na kaya yun sa price nya? kasi may nabasa rin ako na nagleak daw ang sunroof ng 2009? totoo ba yun?

Buhayin ko lang to.. how about a used mazda 6 2.3L 2008, is it good deal on the car itself with regards to fuel consumption

Fuel consumption? Not categorically worse than the 2.4 liter competition, but don't expect it to be economical at all.

If you're going for a 6, better to go up to the later 2.5. Better engine and transmission. More powerful and more robust.

I believe this uses the 2.3L (MZR I4) engine also used by the Ford Focus, Volvo S40 and (US/Europe) Mazada 3...

Same reason why all three cars received positive reviews (in Western Countries)

I get 5-6 km/L with my 2.0 Mazda 3 for city driving. 11-12 km/L for highway driving.

Expect worse for the Mazda 6, maybe 4-5 km/L. Parts availability is also really bad, my friend junked his Mazda 6 after it got flooded because they couldn't find replacement parts for it.

But other than that, the Mazda 6 is a pretty solid car.

I used to own a 2.0L GG1 Mazda6 (GG1 is the first generation, 2005-2008, with the 150hp 2.0L engine). Mileage (mixed highway/urban) was about 11.5 km/L - I never bothered to figure out the city and highway mileage separately basta yun yung combined.

Hi Mazda Owners. Do you know any reputable repair shop where I can have my 2nd-hand 2013 Mazda serviced? I brought my car to Mazda Greenhills this morning to have it checked. Ang diagnosis e kailangan na raw palitan ng power steering hose, air filter, spark plug, at transmission flushing dialysis. Labor and materials will cost around P35,000! Ang sakit sa loob. Haha

Tapos, nagpaquote na rin ako ng new bumper dahil nabangga ako at crumpled na iyung left bumper ko. 60,000 naman ang bigay. Di ko alam kung magkano ang participation fee ko.
