Uncompetitive price tag for the new Mazda3. The base model with just 1.5Li engine is more expensive than the outgoing M3 2.0Li R spec I bought last year! Good luck to Mazda PH on selling a sedan with such a hefty price tag.

But if Mazda PH will bring over the CX-30, that will likely sell better than the BP.

Same sentiments I have 2019 Mazda 3 BP

If the base model comes with the 2.0 liter engine and the premium model with 2.5, that will be a better deal for the premium price tag imho

Don't they locally have a plant there already?

Anyway, like the design and proportions of the Sedan more than the hatch.

But as mentioned in the youtube video, it appears some markets get rear a/c vents while the US didn't. Since there was no mention in any of the spec sheets, I'm assuming the Ph market also didn't get rear A/C vents?

For the price, wasn't expecting them to retain a 1.5L trim and go straight for the 2.0 as the standard engine. Sadly, no Skyactiv X which I was hoping would be tested on our shores whether it performs close to what is advertised, a petrol that has the oomph of a diesel.

Pics won't do justice. Polymetal is pretty sick in the metal....& this had center armrest mounted rear-facing AC vents....which the Oz & US versions don't seem to get.2019 Mazda 3 BP

Yup, they have a plant here but price of cars in China are more expensive if you compare it in the Philippines.
