I have the impression that newer cars nowadays are "thinner and fragile". The Mazda 6 has only about 50,000 km and the hood looks like an old car. If only I was aware of the "new paint technology" that complies with environmental law, I think I would have installed a protective film.
To compare, my usual travel is the same that of our CR-V 98. I had the car repainted (big mistake) but I had no choice as it was needed after a vehicular accident. My son's car is the same, it still looks good, although old.
So yes, it is better to protect it on the first day. Unlike me who seldom applies wax and just washes the car, "driver maintained".

Unlike carnauba wax which is a chore to apply, you can use P&S Beadmaker as a drying aid while wiping your car dry after a car wash. Just spray beadmaker to the microfiber towel and wipe it on the wet surface of the car. It's that easy! It smells good like mango juice. I use beadmaker after the biweekly car wash. Applying it makes it easy to clean the car on every car wash. Best of all, the level of gloss it gives to the car's paint is sooooo addictive [emoji7]
Ito bro. Not sure if the features are available to the local units.
You have been blocked-lol
Few things I wish 2020 Mazda3 speed should made it as standard features:
- istop, button should function as disable/enable and not to push every time you start driving if you doesn't want istop fuction
- No TPMS
- Infotainment doesn't support auto dimming
- USB port doesn’t cut the power when engine’s turn-off – need to unplug dash cam (though parang may delay lang yata ng 1hr)
- No USB post at rear passenger
- power seat on front passenger
- Huge C-pillar a bit concern on rear view visibility
but overall, very satisfied with M3 Speed and really love the auto tilt side mirror when reversing.![]()
