Well, I heard from one of the sales in Cebu that this year, they will be busy with the launch of the new Mazda2 and the new MX-5. Expect the CX-3 in 2016. I've seen it in the flesh in Japan. She's a real beauty.

Hope not. It's bad enough na wala siyang rear center arm rest and front center console/armrest. Boot space daw is much smaller than Mazda3 since it essentially is a Mazda2. But astig naman talaga ang exterior. Sana wag nang bawasan pa ng features.

Mazda CX-3 boot space is smaller than Mazda 3 because there are 4 wheel drive variants of the CX-3.

Was checking the CX-3 brochure from Mazda Australia and I saw the engine output for the 2.0 as follows:

    Maximum power (kW * rpm) 109 * 6,000
    Maximum torque (Nm * rpm) 192 * 2,800

In comparison, the 2.0 engine output for Mazda CX-5 and Mazda 3 (which I check to be the same with the Philippine spec) is:

    Maximum power (kW * rpm) 114 * 6,000
    Maximum torque (Nm * rpm) 200 * 4,000

If these figures are true, that means the engine for the CX-3 is tweaked a little bit to access torque at a lower rpm... Sounds too good to be true though.

Passed by PSE building earlier and I think I saw a white cx 3 parked in front. It had a big figure '3' decal on the side. Couldn't take a picture though, driving.

    Probably a CX-5 or a Mazda 3 with decals.

I thought the CX-3 will not be sold here in the Philippines? I am not sure, but I think I have read somewhere that it will not be reaching our shores. I do hope I am wrong, 'coz I really would prefer this over the M3, not that I don't like the M3, I actually love how it looks, it's just because it has a better ground clearance.

Berjaya did not say no nor did they say yes. The 2 is not even available yet. If the CX-3 is coming it will be introduced end of this year or MIAS 2016. I just hope they price it in the Ecosport range.

Cx3 only looks good in pictures coz the reviews from YouTube and Google images are using 17" low profile rims, in australia, regular models are equipped with 16 rims only. With a fat body like that plus 16 rims, I dunno how it will look like

Ayos lang yan 16 inch rims sa CX3. Maganda nga yan, makapal na rubber puwede, better ride quality imho.

that's Great! Will wait for their formal announcement until the end of the year, if none will come, will just go for the M3.

they are planning on bringing it here but since the demand for cx-3 globally is high, and we are not on top of the priority list, it may take a while, probably q4 or 2016 q1

Im just basing it on their platforms. This is based off the mazda 2 which is a subcompact. I20 cross is based off the accent which is a subcompact. Same with the ecosport based on the fiesta.
