    Thanks!
It was heavy traffic. Simple mathematics lang yan. No matter how efficiently hi-tech the car is, if you are doing 0kph and the engine is burning fuel, you will still get awful FC. Hintayin mo muna i-break-in, go fo a long drive and enjoy the car as is before doing any mods.

Anything special I must do during the break-in? Nasurprise talaga ako sa mazda2 coming from a 2003 honda city idsi. Sobrang gaan dalhin at yung throttle response instantaneous. Parang walang kaeffort effort na mag 100 sa slex kagabi.

Hey do you know where to get leather steering wheel wraps? The wheel is too slippery for me because my hands do not sweat.

Guys sorry for asking so many questions, the thing is this is my first bnew car and I know very little about accessories. Did you get new matting aside from the OEMs provided by mazda? Did you just lay them on top of the stock matting? Or did you set aside the stock matting?

Just got a Mazda 2 v+ as my first personal car after falling in love with it a few months back. Glad I chose this over the City. Next few steps will be to get new seat covers and rubber floor mats.

Couldn't justify grabbing pricey liners only to be stepped on. Got a 3pc set of hobo Nomad copies...got a white crayon & traced the stock mats. Over-sized a few millimeters after seeing gaps the stock left....
Hobo served the purpose....overlaid on stock.

For seat covers, have em customized & perma-clipped. They'd feel like stock...

Woah nice. I think I'll just do this instead.

Earlier while I was driving to work at around 6am, I noticed that the aircon vent on the left hand side of the the steering blows a little weaker than the one on the right side. I noticed it because my right hand got colder than my left. Is this normal? Do you experience this as well?

Hi guys got a Mazda 2 2015 HB MT repo from BDO but 2014 model, since last month, last week went for 50T PMS, but my odo is 25950 currently, everything checks well except battery as per North EDSA service, I am asking how many years po ba ang palit ng battery, saka anu po bang battery ng mga hb?, first time to own a branded car galing po sa owner type wrangler.

just did also the 3m nomad car mat cutout. thou hindi talaga 3m yung kinuha ko, mahal masyado, i just lay the original matting on top, and gunting lang. swak naman ang fit.

sakin on all 3 vents, pareparehas ang buga, yung "hidden" vent nga ang medyo mahina buga sakin. check mo nalang sir kung fully open yung vent.

grats on your new ride sir, big difference from your previous ride, enjoy!
regarding battery, kung hard starting na, might as well replace it, kung bank repo, nagarahe ng matagal.

Where did you have ur seat covers done sir? Heard seatmate can do seat cover like those on the mazda 2 totl variants. What does perma clip do on seat covers? Do they know that if requested on shops making seat covers?

Just sharing how it's ideally done, sir....like OE upholstery. Seat removal needed. You may retain stock fabric w/o fear of tear, damage nor blemish. Perma-clip your new covers onto existing. You won't need to constantly adjust as they are tautly fixed. The stock might wrinkle under over time tho....
This is not a service our garage commercially does & I'm way down south to most here.
Pretty sure upholstery shops around you can if properly directed

    M2 DJ Camber Tweak...

Having been spoiled by cars I can dial in custom suspension settings, not just toe, I had that itch to add at least camber adjustability. The stock M2, like most in its class, come w/ none.
Grabbed myself a pair of SPC camber bolts & a portable camber gauge for my DIY sessions:

Headed to this shop some 100kms away that has the latest alignment equipments & specs of new vehicles, including the kodos,....It's a big plus that it has patient & properly trained techs who really know their stuff. Their location also gives me wide open roads to test/compare pre & post tweak....

Read the camber...both were going their separate ways....Yours likely are off, too.
Left read -1.7°, right was about 0°...desired was -0.4° on both. So w/ toe.
Installed the bolts. You'll need 1 for each side to replace the top spindle bolt.

Used the portable camber gauge to pre-adjust & cover the approximate difference between existing & desired camber. This would help you do fine tuning once the alignment equipment is reading....

Put the wheels back & reread the numbers....all green this time including toe. Went for a quick spirited spin to get the suspension resettled & check for pulling & steering centering....then back to the lift for fine tuning. I'm never satisfied w/ just numbers on green for a car that's yet to turn 1 in a coupla months. So ever patiently, the ideal numbers were dialed in....identical -0.4° camber & toe in of 0.10 both sides. The guys did a heck of a job. Thank you, NorthernMechanics!
Perfect & drives better than ever now.

On your next alignment, check your toe & camber. Both will affect drive quality & tire wear.

It's been a year and it seems wala pa rin. Their brochure/spec sheet also declares that the navigation is free/standard for the new V+ but when we picked up our unit from the dealer last week we were told that the SD cards are not yet available. They couldn't give us a date or even an estimate of how long before the cards become available.

Does anyone here have news about our mazda2's navigation? Sayang naman kung wala. I mean, i already have navigation in my phone but it would be nice to actually have one in the car so i don't have to attach any mounting.
I didn't have my SD card, too. May nilagay silang SD card pero parang outdated na map and ordinary view lang (birds eye view). Sabi nila is papalitan, if available na.

*travs: thanks for sharing. Do you think our 3s need this also?

Re: SD card/Navi, was told by my agent that the updated Navi will be available in Aug or Sept '17.

I'm waiting for Android Auto/Apple Carplay. I think I read in ************ that Mazda will make it available soon.
