Mukang same tayo lahat sir Oliver and sir Joseph. Will be getting my 1.5 HB silver this Thursday too from the same dealership. The hours seem longer, hirap na makatiulog. Haha!
P.S. Thanks for the tip sir Trav. Finally got my account to work!

Hi po!
Recommendations naman po kung saan magandang magpakabit ng busina at bumili na rin ng busina. Hindi ko talaga matiis ang stock horns ng m3 natin. Parang naglalako ng tinapay sa probinsya. Ahahaha. Plate relocator and antenna sa December na kayo. Unahin mo muna busina cause it's so important sa Manila.![]()
Live in a coupla hours, Tokyo Auto Show....SkyActiv R reveal.... Yes, ROTARY is back!!!!
Mazda Confirms Sports-Car Concept to Feature New Rotary Engine ? News ? Car and Driver | Car and Driver Blog
A pleasant day ahead, Mown3rs!![]()
Live from Tokyo...
RX Vision SkyActiv R. Rotary.
2 seater RWD
Excerpts from Autocar:
"The Mazda RX-Vision concept car has been revealed at the Tokyo motor show as the Japanese firm previews its intention to bring a new rotary-engined sports car to market.
The two-door, two-seat coupé is described as being “Mazda’s vision for the ultimate in front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car styling,” and is said to represent “a vision for the future that harbours the soul of the Mazda brand.”
The model measures 4389mm long by 1925mm wide, with a height of 1160mm and a wheelbase of 2700mm. Those dimensions make it marginally longer and wider than Jaguar’s F-type coupé sports car, and significantly lower.
Key to the concept is its next-generation rotary engine. Dubbed SkyActiv-R, Mazda says it has been able to solve three key issues with previous rotary engines – fuel economy, emissions and reliability. Exact power outputs and specifications have not yet been revealed.
The concept’s design is said to offer “a sense of lineage and authenticity, encapsulating Mazda’s entire history of sports car design.” Following Mazda’s KODO design language, the RX-Vision’s low body features short overhangs at either end, with a low roofline and low bonnet – something made possible by the compact dimensions of the SkyActiv-R engine.
Inside, the concept features handcrafted components with intricate instrumentation, leather trim and a simplistic instrument panel. The concept has 245/40R20 tyres at the front, and 285/35R20 rubber at the rear."
My day is made! Yours?![]()
MOWN3RS, any suggestions for replacing the stock horn and installation of a reverse cam and dashcam? And will placing a reverse cam/replacing stock horn not void Yojin?
Miracles do happen sir! Looks like my unit can be released later this afternoon, anyway been thinking about mods already. Iniisip kong magpalit ng shoes then gawin dual exhaust pipe tapos babaan yung sasakyan, kaso lang wala akong kaalam alam sa mga ganitong bagay maybe you can shed me some light for me![]()
Told you, be patient enough and you'll be rewarded for that
Congrats sa pagdating ng Mz3 mo sir. Now, enjoy your car first and don't mod it muna. Tsaka na pag nagsawa ka na. Kung may papalitan ka man, busina ang dapat mong papalitan and it is a MUST kung ayaw mong tawagin ang sasakyan mong nagtitinda ng puto hahaha!
*oliverS what tint did you get?

Hindi naman sa mahina, its more on sa tunog niya na akala mo nagtitinda ng puto o pandesal hahaha! Though some can live with it pero madami ang nagpalit. Di naman mavovoid warranty mo kasi reversible naman ito (pwede ibalik ang stock). For choices sa busina, Bosch Europa, Mitsuba Arena II, Mitsuba Dolce, Hella Supertone are my bets...
Malakas siya, hindi lang maganda yung tunog. I honestly don't understand why Mazda chose this horn when Japan and other Japanese cars have a lot of nicer sounding horns. Yung sa warranty at Yojin3, ano ba sabi ng dealer mo? Di kasi kami taga-Mazda kaya madali magsabi na "hindi mavo-void yan". You have to take some of the advice with a grain of salt. Shops will say "hindi mavo-void" dahil may business interest sila to make a sale. And then remember that the casa is not exactly making money with Yojin3, so they are only too happy if you void it.
The stock horn is very much in character w/ Mazda's ....simple, reserved, unintimidating, but oozes w/ confidence.
It doesn't need to flaunt nor scream, but silently draws attention.
The stock horn simply adds that surprise element. If humility had a sound...it's the M3's stock horn.....
And where there's humility, respect follows.![]()
So, stick w/ stock....be the humble & respected mobile bread vendor!
Me? Oh, I just had to swap the lone stock horn w/ a pair of hobo EC6 BOSCHes not for audible reasons...So why? For steering balance...I felt the weight distribution & symmetry were kinda off. Like a guy w/ only 1 testicle...Hahaha:D
Super agree with the stock horns! Medyo nakakahiyang ibusina ang mga M3 natin kapag ganun ang busina. Gwapo gwapo tapos ganun ang busina. Busina muna ang unang palitan. Wahahaha
Next week magpapalit na ako ng busina. Sir testament11, salamat sa suggestions about busina. Nacontact ko na rin po si Sir Geo about rims and horns dinHopefully before my birthday, may bagong rims na ang baby ko.
