What is the best route to Tagaytay?

We regularly go to cavite during weekends and we still use Eton - paseo route to get to tagaytay

Dati highly recommended pa ang Sta Rosa-Silang-Tagaytay road pero lately parang hindi na. Ang traffic di lang sa Tagaytay mismo kundi pati sa Paseo de Sta Rosa-Nuvali area.

Im from that place, medyo i know the back roads, there is the slex, talisay-sungay route (if youre brave enough), the aguinaldo-amadeo route and my favorite, sta rosa-cardiac hill-silang backroads of silang upto tagaytay(moutain bikers know this pass, all of them are passable, roads are good, medyo maliligaw lang if you dont know the pasikot sikot.

Wag kayo dederecho ng papuntang Silang proper meron kakaliwaan don magtanong na lang kayo yung papuntang Lumil Silang then turn right na don to Tagaytay

I was just there this afternoon. Meron lang konting road construction sa area ng Silang road just before you turn right going to Riviera. Also yung yung short stretch doon may one way because of the road construction, but traffic is still manageable.

Yes, its nuvali, south forbes, cardiac hill, brgy tibig, munting ilog-sabutan-iba rd, brgy balite, paligawan, pulong bunga, from nuvali i got tagaytay in 25 mins on a honda jazz.....better than the stop and go traffic of sta rosa tagaytay road

Yes, its nuvali, south forbes, cardiac hill, brgy tibig, munting ilog-sabutan-iba rd, brgy balite, paligawan, pulong bunga, from nuvali i got tagaytay in 25 mins on a honda jazz.....better than the stop and go traffic of sta rosa tagaytay road

Ah, we call that revpal( we are going up kasi), nuvali- canlubang golf, old house of marcos, from they ask the direction to tagaytay, its a straight and uphill climb...until you reach palace in the sky.

But if youre not a member of can golf you cant pass thru, but if youre going down from tagaytay, pwede

We call this the sungay road, one of the hardest climb sa mtb coz of the corners with no relief, plus there is the danger of on coming traffic, going up by car is ok, but going down, i wont suggest it if you dont know each corner, my brakes overheated going down when it was my 1st time

Your idea is correct. There are side or barangay roads but that will just slow you down dahil makitid yung ibang part and you might get lost once not familiar.

Eton-Nuvali walang sitahan ng sticker dyan. Sa Mamplasan exit going Nuvali yung sticker requirement and it's a shorter route though.

Swabeng swabe lang. Mejo scary lang kasi bundok sa kanan ko tapos bangin sa kaliwa, pero smooth naman, though may ilan ilang parts na mejo rough road pa. Seriously natakot din talaga ko kasi kala ko naliligaw na kame. But then pagkakita ko sa Nuvali, ayun nakahinga ng maluwag.

ETON exit is the exit after sta. rosa..... the good part here is that you will bypass the congestion sa sta. rosa.

Ayan ba ung galing talisay paakyat ng tagaytay? Sarap idaan ng GS dun. Went there last saturday. We stayed in balai isabel. Where i saw an expedition waiting for a jet ski sa lake. Akala ko sa shore ng lake lang siya. Inatras pa na halos half tire deep na tubig ang expedition nung inantay yung jetski

Mas nakakatakot yan ah, alam ko wala pang mga ilaw don pag gabi. Sabi nga nung misis ko dapat daw di ako dun dumaan. Sabi ko e ano bwelta ko na ba? E maliwanag pa naman so dineretso ko na lang tapos huminto hinto kame para magtanong sa mga tao, mababait naman tapos yun nga daw SLEX daw labas nun kaya dineretso ko na. Kaso yun nga hindi din ako pinapasok nung guard sa Nuvali, pero may tinuro namang ibang daan. Don sa Silangan Exit ng SLEx kame dumaan.
