What is the best route to Tagaytay?

coastal road? nah, i wouldn't take it, though it seems to be the shorter route.

If you are coming from SLEX, you can take the Carmona Exit,- turning right towards the general direction of Dasmarinas. Then you turn left just before the Shell(or Caltex?) gas station to your left. The gas station is a few meters before you hit the bridge of GMA.... This is now the Maguyam Road which will lead you to the town of Silang, Cavite...

If you miss the Maguyam Road,- then I guess you just have to turn left to Aguinaldo Road a few kilometers farther (after passing by SM).... Medyo traffic nga lang....

ABI-Greenfield Exit is great. Easy to keep a constant 80 km/h pace there, no worries.

The last time I used Sta Rosa on SLEX, I wrecked one of my wheels on a particularly deep, invisible rut just before entering the northbound toll booth. I was travelling at just 20 km/h at night. Never used it since then.

ok talaga dyan sa Eton city. ang ganda ng kalsada, to the point na ang sarap bumirit kasi halos walang dumadaan. konti pa lang kasi ang nakakaalam. mostly, taga- south lang din. my max speed there is 180kph.

Can't blame you Sir considering that I myself used to experience series of bad "buhos" there. However, times have changed and the buhos system only applies for southbound motorists at around 8-9am in the morning. Usually after that it's all good na. Have to give my kudos to the female traffic enforcers there of Bacoor. Improvements sure have been visible traffic-wise after they were commissioned to manage the traffic there.

AFAIK, ang alam ko lang na may guard na nanghaharang mapa araw o gabi kapag walang sticker ay yung daan sa Mamplasan. if you're coming from Manila and you enter Mamplasan Exit, right after ng toll gate, yung direction sa left. dun, yun yung may nanghaharang. sorry di rin ako gaanong familiar sa mga pangalan. alam ko lang puntahan.

pero yung Eton City, alam ko walang nanghaharang dun. ewan ko lang din kung may curfew (like the Mamplasan exit going to Biñan City proper via Pavilliion Mall- 10pm to 4am).

Mga sirs it looks like wala ng Tagaytay for us .. Cancelled na yung Tagaytay, Fontana na ngayon ang destination.. Pasensya na po, di kasi ako organizer nung outing namin.. Nagpost lang ako dito ng maaga para alam ko na agad ang daan if ever..

But still may natutunan naman po ako sa way papuntang Tagaytay in case our family decides to go there .. Thanks po mga sirs and pasensya na po ulit!
