Best way to Dagupan is via Camiling instead of Carmen.
1. Use SCTEX and exit at Luisita
2. At Siesta in Tarlac city take the left road to Camiling (Right is to carmen).
3. At Camiling take the road to Bayambang->Malasique->Calasiao->Dagupan

My experienced at SCTEX is the best! I recommend it to all tsikoteers going to north, traveling time is cut by almost an hour and the highway is world-class.

SCTEX is awesome, Company namin kasi gumawa ng electricals nung SCTEX, pero di naman halos lahat mahaba un e,hehe, im from Pangasinan so its really nice to try this route, anyway kelan kaya mgkakaroon ng expressway hangang pangasinan,

Saan maganda dumaan papuntang Dagupan City coming from Metro Manila this Sunday?

1. Via Urdaneta
2. Via Sta. Ignacia - Bugallon
3. Via Sta. Ignacia - Malasiqui
4. Other.

1. via Urdaneta - traffic masyado at parang mahaba.
2. via Sta. Ignacia / Camiling / Mangatarem / Bugallon - maganda ang highway.
3. via Sta. Ignacia / Camiling / Malasiqui (or Basista / San Carlos) / Calasiao - medyo magiging traffic, Sunday being market day and the road is narrower compared to #2. at siempre, mas marami tricycles sa route na ito. as they said, don't try this road at night when you're not familiar with the route.

i usually take the Luisita exit going to Camiling / Romulo Highway.
