For an everyday car, I'll take these Kias over those borloloy laden Isuzu Crosswinds with old and outdated underpinnings. Parang dinadaan na lang ng Isuzu sa accessories yung inability nila to design and come up with a new model.

Afaik, th current crosswind is still on the platform of the first hilander which was based on the older Isuzu pickup,

we still have a crosswind xt, i like it and don't think i'll sell it anytime soon. yan kasi pang bugbugan ko, cheap to maintain, great fc, i don't care if it gets scratched or dinged by the car beside me. pretty much a worry free car but if i can only own one car, it wouldn't be a crosswind.

anyway back to topic, i don't really like buying a stripped down car when i know i could buy a fully loaded car for the same price. for that price i'd rather get an innova g if i really need a car as big as that but if i don't i'd buy a lancer gt-a/hyundai elantra/corolla/cruze.

Poverty packs are cool when priced right. Or just because they are cool just like those LC200s for mining purposes. Hehe. If the platform is good, I can get by without the frills.

Same reason why we are using more stripped down hiace commuters vs the more loaded china vans or urvan escapades, i guess.

After getting very curious about the base model of the Sportage, I checked the Kia website for the spec changes, so far here's what I've gathered:

    Features:
    Airbags Driver Side (only)
Crash Auto Door Unlock Mechanism -
    Foglamps -
    Roof Rails -
    Door courtesy lamps -
    Illuminated Ignition Keyhole -
    Rear Storage Box -
    Battery saver -

These are the features which are not included.

Is battery saver the one that automatically turns off the headlights, parklights when you lock the car?

Except for the lesser number of airbags, Im ok without the other items.
