New Trim Levels for Sorento and Sportage.

Isn't there a P1.3M Sorento diesel version?

I wish they'd post the specs of these barebones units as there are some folks who'd be ok without some amenities but then just mod the ride up. Like the barebones Innova J, for example. Bare, but you get the Innova's flexibility.

alam ko meron sir, if rumors are true price is at P1.290M pangtapat daw sa montero non-vgt. I saw a white one two weeks ago parang demo unit nila. Exterior is obvious sa pagka bare nya pero same engine daw ng current sorento. I only saw the exterior didnt check kung AT or MT yung nakita ko.

When they were still selling the older Sorento while it was getting to be past its prime, I remember they had the lower end spec but diesel units. That's a good idea if they want to boost their sales.

There really is a low-end Sorento (lower than the LX) that comes with the diesel engine. Priced at 1.330M.

No roof rails, fogs, chrome trim, backup sensors, side mirror repeaters, etc. Mostly cosmetic - I just don't know how bare it looks but if it all blends well, I might prefer this over the Sportage EX R-eVGT (1.29M).

Kia Alabang has this Sorento listed as 4x2 2.4L Gas CVVT 5-speed A/T for PHP 1.09M. Next is 4x4 M/T PHP 1.14M.
The lowest diesel variant is the 4x2 2.2L CRDI E-VGT M/T for PHP 1.23M, A/T for PHP 1.33M.

Baka may mali dito sa pricelist nila kasi sabi sa ad, yung Sorento na PHP 1.09M ay M/T. Anyway, ayos sa pricing... 5-seater nga lang, now pede ba ma-convert ito para maging 7-seater? monobloc kaya mailagay sa likod

ano kaya gawin ng Toyota pantapat dito? ok to para sa mga consumers... pano kaya presyuhan ng Hyundai ang bagong Santa Fe? or mag offer din bare na SF?

Good move by kia. The battle for the Trim down SUVs and CUVs has just started. Lets see what will be the next move of the other manufacturers.

I'm thinking the same thing. Nag-release na Mitsubishi ng cheap SUV, Kia followed... Toyota nalang.

1-1.1M Fortuner sounds good. 2.5L D4D engine MT tapos stripped down nalang.
