* Sparcom2... I got the subwoofer sa Korea Hyundai Kia parts store. Cargo area siya nakalagay, left side. You will see a blank cover doon. Yung sa dash board, center speaker, unfortunately hindi available yung cover kaya hindi ako bumili ng center speaker. Ito yung mga part numbers nila:

PN 963802P000 SPEAKER ASSY - SUB WOOFER (for 7seater) and
PN 857352P010VA GRILLE ASSY REAR, SPEAKER LEFT ( LEFT HAND ).
PN 847152P100VA GRILLE ASSY - CENTER SPEAKER (not available)
PN 963202P000 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY - CENTER



Hindi sila marunong mag english, kaya sa part number kami naguusap.
Punta ako sa MASPRO sa monday, and see what they can do to install this.

* Sparcom2 & Istan... yung wire sana connecting the subwoofer walang naka-abang sa Sorento, iba yung part number ng floor wiring for philippines. To replace wiring, yung floor wiring assy include LED lights, ext Amplifier Surround Speaker wiring about USD 1,500, wala pang installation cost doon. So splicing na lang ang ginawa sa akin, pangit tignan pero nakatago naman inside the Trim.

OEM Subwoofer is made by JBL (Infinity series yata)

Got the Subwoofer installed by Winterpine, warranty still intact, they also installed an Amplifier (JL Amp JX500/ID) for the woofer. Sabi nila maganda na raw yung Amp, (I have no idea really). Total cost of installation PHP 14,500 (Amplifier included)

Total result, I got better sound coming out... without sacrificing space in the cargo. I don't mind the traffic now, as long as I hear good sounding music...

Called some Kia dealers and CAC wala na palang Sorento LX diesel m/t. Sayang! Was looking forward to the Sorento rather than the Monty glx m/t.

Sparcom2... Wala ako Nakita subwoofer for the Center dashboard. But I ordered the Center speaker, i'll have it by mid November. l got the center grill with me now. Thanks for the link.

Ito yung illustrated parts catalogue ng sorento for the speakers. (Hope you can see it). Yung subwoofer nasa cargo area talaga. Picture ko na lang yung center speaker pag kuha ko.

I have also now surround speakers located sa 3rd row seat upper portion. Ipa-install ko once complete ang speakers.


Did you also install LED Tail light? Nagkaroon ka ba ng issue sa wiring? Where you able to solve it?

Alam ko yung sorento sx sa states infinity din ang brand ng speakers. Regarding sa LED tail lights, meron na ako ng wiring diagram ( lately ko lang natanggap ) sunog na yung inner LED ng inner lamp ko bago ko ako nakakuha ng wiring diagram. PM kita sir.

Hi guys, my Sorento fuel button got fixed na. Took less than an hour to fix, tried and tested, no problems na. Kia Pasay is a great place to deal with. Button fixed under warranty. I noticed the release now has a much stronger force, so I guess the old button had a problem with weak electrical current.

Congrats MrGrunn, Sa akin may road noise coming from right rear wheel, palitan daw ng hub assy also from Kia Pasay under warranty din, just waiting for the part for replacement.

hi guys! I recently had a problem. while driving, my head unit just suddenly died and I couldn't put it back on. then when I parked then pushed the engine start button to let the engine stop, yeah it did stop but when I tried to start it on again by pressing it, it doesn't. also when I turned off the engine, usually the door unlocks and the ceiling lights come on, but in this case those didn't happen. so I figured maybe the battery is dead already, but when I inserted the keyless fob on the middle compartment key slot, i can start the engine again but I couldnt turn on the head unit, and the trip A & B, the L/100km, everything have reseted. and when i step out, of the car and try to lock it, the keyless entry button on the door handle does not work and the keyless fob does not work to. has anyone experienced this?

could be 2 or more things causing those. try changing the fob battery first to eliminate one possible cause.

sa experience ko sa mga vehicle alarm systems pag mahina na ang battery ng fob minsan naga-alarm kahit umaandar na, o kaya open/close ang auto door locks. once nag-activate pa ang engine shut down. kaya lagi ako may spare battery saka small screw driver just in case.

If under warranty, better see the Dealer and state your case so that at earliest they can check your vechicle. Okey lang yan pag magluko na nasa garahe mo lang, the worst kung sa garahe ng iba..Be safe! Good Luck!

kung bata lang uupo, yung foam na sofa bed ayos na yan

removable naman yung cover sa likod, dali lang pagawa nyan sa car seat shop. ang tanong lang nga e kung may butas na yung floor para sa bolt ng seat frame.

Likely a weak key fob battery. Use the spare muna & have the dealer replace the battery on the one you use.

It's good that meron indicative sign na mahina na key fob. Ngayon ko lang nalaman ito.

Pero di dapat magreset yung mga on board computers at magmalfunction yung headunit. Na Low batt na yung smart key ng Tucson ko before pero di nagkaganyan yung sa akin. Tsaka madali lang magpalit ng battery, madali lang buksan yung smart key.
