Report lang, its been 2 months since Kia Pasay repaired my fuel tank release button under warranty. So far so good. The release is strong, not like before na slight bukas lang.

there is next to no difference with the engine of the new sorento from the old one. wala pa silang malagay na ugrade engine wise I think because it's actually already very advance. BTW, I've already attained 225kph in my sorento. 6 adults in the car and the engine still has more to give. the RPM was just around 3.6-3.7Ks. napagalitan lang ako ng ermats ko kaya ako napa minor. hehehe!

libre lanes namin side by side nung nag-race eh. nung first time na tinapatan ko siya, i was just admiring his ride. nagalit yata kasi nahabol ko siya (140kph kami nun) o ayaw niya na tinitignan yung ride nya hehehe. so he floored his gas. hinabol ko then nalagpasan ko siya. after that nag-slow down ako to 110kph kasi may mga kasabay na iba. then siya naman tumapat sa akin. when we got to a stretch na libre ulit lanes namin pareho and we were side by side he gunned his engine again, nauna siya umarankada ng split second. ni-floored ko din accelerator ko, nose to nose for several seconds then slowly naiwan na siya ulit. matagal din kasi siya mag-up shift kaya naiiwanan. ewan ko baka takot lang siya kaya ko naiwan kasi alam ko mas mabilis dapat yung wrx sa sorento natin e. he was trying to catch up with me, ahead ako mga 20 meters and increasing. then nakakita ako butas sa right most lane lumusot ako. e siya nagpumilit sa left lanes e di naipit siya. shows he's a rich kid with an expensive car he does not know how to use. talo lang talaga ako wala ako EC tag hahaha!

200kph lang na try ko for about 1 minute sa sctex. speed was measured by GPS, sa panel nasa ~205kph. ok siya at that speed, no vibrations at hindi nagwa-wonder ang kotse, goes to where you point the wheels. try mo kaya sir, baka mas mabilis yang iyo 2013 na yan e hehehe.

guys maybe its time for me to post our problems with our 2010 sorento. tatlong beses na ayaw mag start. siguro in a span of 1 year 3 times na biglang ayaw mag start. tow ng tow papunta ng casa naaayos naman pero di nila alam ano talaga ang defect. any ideas? baka lemon ito? malas talaga ata kami pag dating sa mga sasakyan. ngayon lang ayaw nanaman umandar. crank lang ng crank. push start button itong amin.

any ideas?

Are previous stalling, yun din cause? Ayaw magstart? May clicking sound ba when you press start?

regarding naman sa performance walang nakakahabol sa akin sa biyahe. lahat iwan na iwan. kahit yung montero vgt di ko makita sa rear view mirror hahaha! 200 din max ko. kaso menor na ako di ko na kaya. may mga kasama pa ako at mga bagahe

yung luma namin na sorento 2009 vgt narin mabilis parin. minsan nagagamit ko yun pangbiyahe naiiwan parin lahat. heavy duty yun may 4LO pa haha. walang naging problema yun. 50k na odo nun.

Napalitan na ba ng fuel pump ang unit mo? AFAIK yung 2010 sorento euro 4/5 compliant tapos yung 2011 onwards euro 2/3 compliant na para maging compatible sa dirty diesel natin.

hmmm wala pa ata. need ko bang sabihan palitan or alam ba nila na dapat talagang palitan?

I cant tell you if yung fuel pump talaga ang problema ng unit mo sir pero the best way is to bring your sorento sa kia pasay. For me, mas magaling mechanic at honest sila.

my wife had the sorento serviced for its 5000km pms yesterday. cost was P5700 but since we have a voucher from kia quirino there was no charge
nabisto yung HID ko, wala naman daw kaso does not affect the warranty as the wattage is actually less than the OEM bulb. except for the headlight housing of course since sir benjie drilled holes on the cover.

e fully synthetic zic oil daw required ng columbia for the warranty. yan sabi ng quirino, congressional and proj 7.

Casa sells that for 400per liter. Sa seiring, 283 pesos lang. So its economical to bring own oil. Kaya want to know if may extra charge yung caaa pag bring your own.

Sa Kia Congressional ko pina-PMS yung Sportage. Regarding sa oil, okay lang naman daw ikaw mismo magdala. Wala naman daw problema sa warranty lalo na Motul ang ginagamit ko.

Pero sa spare parts magkakatalo, kahit daw OEM yun dala mo, baka daw masilip ng planta yun kasi naka-monitor daw yun sa planta. Baka daw mahirapan mag-claim ng warranty.

Eh ang akin lang, genuine spare parts din naman dala ko, kaya kahit ilaban sa korte yan, dapat panalo ako.

Wala rin extra charge pag ikaw nagdala ng oil. Basta okay sa akin ang Kia Congressional, mababait mga tao doon.
