Mas maganda gamitin mo din yung pinang buff mo sa Camera lens paminsan minsan para mag bead ang water para mas malinaw ang dating sa gabing/maaulan. pagwala kasi minsan kalat na water/droplets nakaka palabo ng RearView!

It means how many liters it will take to reach 100 kms. The lower figure is better. 5 L / 100 km would mean 20 Kms / liter.

Can someone share the maintenance cost for crdi at lx version of the sorento? Is PMS every 5k? I average 16k KMS a year and computing for 5 year TCO minus fuel costs.

yes, pms is 5000 km or 6 months.
1st pm 1000km free, depends on your dealer. wala naman change oil sa 1000km pm.

kung change oil lang and regular checks di ka aabot ng P8k, fully synthetic oil na yun.

basta syempre it is a must that you read the owner's manual, especifically the maintenance schedule, on what is needed to be done on your vehicle. alam mo naman all casas will try to add jobs that are not needed just to squeeze more money from you. so pag mayroon sa quote nila na wala naman sa maintenance schedule then tell them not to do it. for example, brake cleaning every 5000km. it is only required at 20,000km. another is "car wash", which at the casa cost P500. e sa labas P75 lang, so tell them you don;t want their car wash. changing aircon filters every 5000km? e kung everyday ka naman naliligo at panay vacuum ng interior ng vehicle mo di naman need palitan. palinis mo lang, bubugahan lang ng hangin ok na ulit yun. or DIY, hugasan mo ng Joy.

example ko dyan sir is my last PM, at 15,000 km. initial quote given was P12k+. after comparing it with the owner's manual i told them to not do some unnecessary jobs (including their P500 car wash), and I also told them not to change to air con filter (i just cleaned it the week before). so the final tally just amounted to P7k+, a difference of 5k.

sir buzzerbeater, the USDM LX model is different from the PHDM LX model. ang alam ko, iba ang fog lamps, front & rear lower bumpers. depends what PHDM model you'll be getting. the 2wd LX is the barest model, I think the 4wd LX has more standard features. not sure kung ano yun. maybe the other guys can pitch in.
