Has anyone with a 5-seater Sorento tried having a 3rd row installed by Seatmate or a similar establishment? Have a friend planning to do this to add some space for 2 more (small) folks as a contingency.

I've told him to go for the Carnival if he needed to sit 7 comfortably and safely, but just the same, in case anyone has already done so, would like to see your pix.

afaik sir Imm29 its possible pero matrabaho and expensive, you have to change even the sidings. mag carens nalang siya if he wants to load seven pax. Ako i plan to put small stools at the back just in case of emergency hehehe.

Chiefs, here's the pic. Heartbreaking since wala pang plates yung auto and it's the only car we own whose interior panel got a lot of scratches. I found out na driver namin nakadali nyan. Sinakay pala yung bike niya sa loob nung inutusan ko sometime last month. Hindi man lang naglagay ng protective mat (carton or rubber sheets). Sinabon ko na kanina at ang nakuha ko ay kamot ulo lang.

It's an eyesore and I want to have it fixed.

I think I saw sir sagingsaba's ride sa Tomas morato kanina. Can't mistake that brown Sorento with 20's rims hehe. Kayo ba sir yung naka orange shirt and red pants na kumain sa finio?

hi folks, finally had the opportunity to dismantle/remove carpet of the hatch/trunk area to finally see once and for all the
Floor Pan to see for myself what's needed for my planned MOD - addition of 3rd. row seats :-(

total absence of Bracket Mounting would make the plan extra challenging - well it means would have
to WELD the brackets on the floor which I'm not fond of doing in a new vehicle...esp. its pristine condition...

^ are those not plugs (the + with the silicone sealant around)? maybe the frame/bracket is not welded, maybe it is bolted down and the bolts go through the holes that are plugged?

ser yebo kailangan ng actual 7seater matanggal din carpet at ma usisa ng husto...can't say for now....
supposed to be kasi ang bawat seat has 4bracket mounting, 2 front back, and 1 per side....dun sa plugs
nakikita natin doesn't seem to add up....

Kia new Manila and Kia Greenhills meron pang stock. I doubt magkakaubusan since hindi na wallet friendly yung price ng 4x4 ex.

hehe, nag alangan kasi ako lapitan ka kasi hindi ako sure na ikaw yun. i was eating inside finio rin that time. after kasi mag park nung brown na sorento may dalawang guy na pumasok sa resto, hinulaan lang ng missis ko na ikaw yung naka orange/red.
Ganda talaga ng sorento mo sir! mas imposing sa personal. Pictures doesn't do it justice. mukhang mabubutas wallet ko kaka mods para hindi mapahiya sa ride mo sir hehe.
