medyo OT.. anong recommended nyo na tire inflator ? napagkatuwaan kahapon yung sorento ko at pinasingaw ng mga makukulit na mga tambay... ayun na hassle ako sa pagpalit ng gulong.

Nung 1month old pa lang sorento ko 3x binutas tires ko by putting nails at screw naka dantay sa tires, so pag forward ayun tusok. Hassle, kaya ngayon lagi na sa loob ng garage.

Ser kinuha ko C70, too light.. pero ok din sa heat rejection.... na compare ko Wndshield sa Driver side open windows.... mga half 60%nabawas sa heat (though advertisement claim arnd 90%).... though super ok sa night time road illumination i wish i had gotten something darker (C50 or even C30)...

Medyo pricey etong C series...front WS php4500 disconted pa yun.

Same tayo ng tint dati, C70 din kinuha ko for windshield pero kita pa rin ako sa loob kahit na naka C30 ako sa side at rear window. Nag decide ako after a month na palitan ng C50 yung windshield. Pero for me worth it yung huperoptik, one of the good investment na nilagay ko sa sorento ko. Ang ginawa ko pina tint ko na ng huper optik yung sorento ko bago kunin sa casa tapos sinabihan ko SA na isama yung huper optik payment sa mortgage ko para hindi mabigat sa bulsa.

yes pwede start/stop via smart phone but i still have to discover how to use it.

it also has a build-in navigation system. kailangan ko papalitan ng map since the map installed is for Korea.

Sa loob lang ng village sir. Nung wala pa plate number tinira. Pero ng magkaroon ng plate, hindi na nangyari uli. Attractive siguro pag wala pang plate.

Can't remember dude eh, but it has good reviews. I guess a bit pricey, if I remember correctly, but I might be wrong. Tagal na kasi nun sa akin.

hi to all, has anybody noticed (at least for the PHDM 2013 LX), the driver side door has far
better pleasing sound when closing the doors.....compared to the front passenger side...

i'm not sure with ser bimparts TOTL Sorento.... is there a way to make it sound the same w/o replacing
the door lock mechanism?

also has anyone missed the ONE_TOUCH_UP Power window switch? all my other car have/had it (Hilux/Fit/Civic)...but this Sorento is same with Carens....
is there an alternative Mobis switch to have this one touch convenience?
i think this is common with Hyundai branded vehicles....

Yes, I noticed that too - the driver's side door has a more solid thud when being closed.

About the absence of a one touch up power window for Kia (my Sportage too and Hyundai), I believe it's a safety mechanism, in order to prevent hands being caught up with the window being closed automatically.

meron naman atang anti-pinch safety mechanism that they could employ same as other makes... anyway pansin ko lang yung Toyota Alphard and Ford Focus have all of these One-Touch UP/DOWN for driver side as well as passenger side controls....

I don't have a Sorento, but the counterpart....anyhow. let me know if your able to use your GPS with Philippine Map... we both have Actune unit and same system, but I can't get my gps to work...although with the SD card included with Korean map, theres no problem...wala lang ako alam paano mapagana or mapagawa sd files with Philippines map to work with the type of unit we have.

Guys i just want to share a few more pictures of the car so we can compare it to the current model Sta. Fe

Here are some of my personal comments why i like the 2013 Kia Sorento rather than the 2013 Hyundai Sta Fe.

1. The side glass of the Sorento is bigger from the front until the 3rd row. Notice that the Sta fe has very small side glass at the front row. Then it gets even smaller on the 2nd row and worse on the 3rd row. It made the Sta Fe feel cramp inside.

2. The dashboard design of the Soranto is not so modern but not out dated. For me, it has a more lasting design. The height of the seats and the dashboard is just right which makes the driving position perfect and easy to drive. The dashboard of the Sta Fe looks like a Sonata and a Tucson. It looks very modern but can easily look out dated. The seats of the Sta Fe feels so low inside and it does not help that the side glass is small.

3. The body of the Sorento looks boxy, wider and more "macho". The body of the Sta Fe has more curves to it. I personally prefer the boxy look.

I don't have a Sorento, but the counterpart....anyhow. let me know if your able to use your GPS with Philippine Map... we both have Actune unit and same system, but I can't get my gps to work...although with the SD card included with Korean map, theres no problem...wala lang ako alam paano mapagana or mapagawa sd files with Philippines map to work with the type of unit we have.

average din lang for me ung sound when closing doors on my sportage. but after my deadening, all my doors now closes with a satisfying thud

hindi ba one touch yung driver-side window lang?
