Ang ganda talaga ng sorento mo bimparts, tulo laway ko. Hehehe :D yung center speaker sa ibabaw ng dashboard subwoofer ba siya?
thank you
yung center speaker is not the sub-woofer. mostly voice ang maririnig mo sa center speaker. when listening to the dj speak, you will hear the voice coming from the middle then when they start playing music, you will hear it on the side speaker. the sub-woofer is at the left rear on the 3rd row.
Dang ang ganda, its really a thing of beauty and i can only say Enjoy mo ser ride mo....
iba talaga pag loaded to the Gills yung ride....
sana ser matuloy EB natin around March, and sana paranig ng sound system mo....
i'm really close to giving in and doing a Sound system setup....palit H.U.; install center channel (speaker);
change my slim powered sub with a Built-in chamber (for that stealth OEM look) and Rear Surrounds...
kaso i'm still debating over :
* WIndows CE based Unit (Php14K) : that's exact plug and play with the wiring...so if i can get my hands on some steering wheel control/switches
hopefully can use those two switch clusters (Volume / BlueTooth)....
* same as above (Php18.5K); pero with proper plugs for easy connection with AMPS (no need tap signal fm. speaker wires)....
* Android 2.2 based system (pero its priced over the top.....)
saka prices na yan di pa kasama Reversing camera (around Php1,200) and Phil. Maps....
actually mas marami pang features itong si sir bimparts kaysa dun sa sorento totl sa campi last year
http://tsikot.com/forums/kia-cars-ta...-2013-a-89431/
nung pinag aralan ko yung mga variants available sa Korea, ito yung pinaka mataas na model. options there are TLX, TLX Special, Limited, Limited Special. meron pang 2.0diesel and 4x2 variants. sobrang nakakalito ang mga options. yung TLX nila dun is not even the same as the highest model that the local market is selling now which is the 7seater variant.
if you guys are interested, meron dadating next week same as mine pero walang navigation system.
wow ganda ha. meron na dito locally nyan?
Sir bimparts can you PM me the price? Thanks! As in same features ng sayo except nav system?
Ser bimparts, China po 'yan. Its easy for me to buy them and send to Phil.
hi guys/gals...just share some pix on last weekends roadtrip to Banaue.
total distance travelled around 715km++...
on the way up with very little bed rest, i was almost lulled into sleep till
a corner carver by the name of Toyota '86 (the Subaru BRZ twin) get my
blood pumping and woke me up.....
i tried to give him a good chase and over-took him on some occassions
only on the straights.... but unfortunately he's car is just too good around
the bends. plus (whoever he is) thumbs up to his driving ballz....
there was one incident though that i was chasing him and was too hot for one
RIGHT hander immediately followed by a LEFT Hander turn....was doing almost
120kph in Caringgal Maharlika hiway (close to Nueva Ecija/Vizcaya?) and with
the well paved asphalted section i lost grip momentarily and already heard the tires
fighting for traction.....it was kind of a close call (shouldn't do that again, haha).
anyway since there's alot of pictures, i just selected a few in thumbnail sizes for
viewing below....

I had a similar experience too, and also on that exact same stretch of highway (eerie), I was coming down from Sta Fe (Dalton Pass) and already on that part of the highway in Caranglan (I think this is the correct name of the place) Nueva Ecija, just before San Jose, and I felt that I was losing traction on my wheels as I was speeding up at around 80kph on the zig-zag. It was on this experience that I was missing the 4wd ability of an SUV (that I had on my Kia Sportage that had 4wd). This Sorento is powerful that we need to be careful in driving it, else risk losing control.
Guy i'm really new when it comes to SUVs.
With both experiences, would it be an advantage if you had the AWD model? Does it really have more traction on street road or is it just good for off roads?
